The staff were lovely. Vicky and Holly were particularly great. Vicky even went out to buy my mum special tea after her long shift. Breakfast was great. The pool was lovely…. Great that there was a kid free session. Loved the fact that people could bring there’re dogs along.

Everything. The room was clean and everything you needed. View was amazing. Staff were lovely. Had lunch and evening meal and it was exceptional (I recommend the fish and chips). Breakfast was best I have ever come across when staying away. They made my dog welcome even gave her a sausage for breakfast. I will definitely recommend staying there and I will be returning in the future.

Marcus on reception needs a big shout out, very helpful, professional and polite, a credit to the organisation. Pool facilities are great. Really clean and the steam room and sauna are great!. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I would definately book here again, excellent short break.

    Beautiful hotel in the countryside.

Beautiful hotel in the countryside. Made me feel relaxed and pampered. Nice walks in the grounds and plenty outdoor activities. Golf course was great & reasonably priced. Enjoyed a morning swim in the pool. Ate in the Brasserie restaurant, food delicious. Great variety for breakfast and plenty of it. Will definitely return, good value.

A very pleasant short stay, lovely room even though only a standard room, comfy beds although quilt too heavy for me, nice furniture and drapes. Not impressed in the dining room the vacated tables weren't cleared very quickly. Been before possibly will come again.

Overly expensive, shabby rooms, ridiculous bar prices and staffing is poor and mainly 18yr olds. Location is good and nice grounds. We are elsewhere every evening and found much nicer places for half the cost of the food there

Slaley's claim to fame was that it was the longest linear village in England. It was a lead and coal mining area so It is never going to be a tourist hotspot. But it is genuine and friendly (if the crowd in the Rose & Crown were anything to go by). It is in pleasant countryside and it is conveniently sited between Roman Corbridge and NT Gibside/ Beamish area , so it has a great location

Our second time staying here. A lovely place to wind down after our honey moon, and a couple days to spend with our dog. The Slaley forest is right on its door step and is a lovely walk! The site is quiet, and relaxing. The caravan is clean, and has everything you need. We did bring our own Amazon stick to plug into the TV if you’re wanting to watch films or anything Really lovely property and will definitely stay again in the future - our dog loved the rabbit watching 🐇

Lovely comfortable property with all the mod cons needed for a short break. Located in a quiet part of a small park with beautiful surrounding woodland walks. The hot tub once warmed up was an added bonus and great fun. The onsite staff were helpful and friendly and the towns of Hexham and Corbridge a 15 minute drive away. The community pub the Rose and Crown in Slaley was tremendous value for money and along with this property very dog friendly.
