The outskirts of Stalham, particularly around the broads, is very pretty, but Stalham itself felt run down with some questionable characters wandering around. It is, however, a good location to explore the Broads, the Norfolk coast and Norwich.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Stalham

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Stalham The chalet was excellent, so clean, comfy beds and everything we needed. The site was easy to find and so well maintained with lots of grass surrounding chalets. It wasn't too big so it was easy to get around. It was quiet although the main road was not far away. Our dog enjoyed going for her walks. Everyone was so friendly. There was a swimming pool and live entertainment in the clubhouse. Although Stalham was not big the High Street offered a variety of shops, cafes, fish and chips etc and a large Tesco. The people were so welcoming. It was not far from the beach, Wroxham for boat trips, the city of Norwich for shopping and Gt.Yarmouth for the pleasure beach funfair and seaside. We would recommend it to our friends and would not hesitate to stay again.

Stalham is lovely. My family have lived there for many years and we come to visit from New Zealand every year. It has a lot of old buildings but also modern facilities, like Tescos. Close by there are good walks and broads

It's a bit like English towns and villages used to be and long may it last. There are plenty of good eateries including Oasis Indian restaurant and The Crown. The Hotel dinners were good too. You must go to the Broads museum and have a boat trip and then wander up the coast road towards Cromer and Sheringham and catch the train at Sheringham. Its a trip into the past with its period station. Alas we do not qualify as a young couple, only young in heart. Just go and discover for yourselves. It'll be a reward in its self.. Oh, and don't forget the garden centre a few yards down the road towards Stalham

We didn't actually stay at Ant one we stayed at the Hickling boat as we wanted a balcony so they kindly moved us. The surroundings were beautiful. Lots of bird life to watch. It was nicely furnished. Lovely and peaceful a real get away from it all. Fun watching the boats go by and people chatting and waving. Great location with a hotel/pub a minute walk away that serves meals, cafes closed by, shops only a couple of minutes drive away including a Tesco Superstore.

Property was well located in the town of Stalham and is a beautiful Victorian house. Spotlessly clean and good quality furnishings and linen. Had excellent facilities and the owner was available to contact if needed. Owner provided lots of local information which was at the property. We had a welcome basket and some supplies were at the property when we arrived. A very enjoyable stay. Thank you.
