Great pub with rooms in a lovely village. Staff friendly. Room had clean cotton sheets and big clean white towels. Huge bed (room 8) and easy access to the garden. Breakfast was delicious

We wanted to stay for 2 nights at The King's Arms however we could only book a double room for the 1st night and a twin room for our 2nd night. This could have been a bit of an inconvenience but the staff went out of their way to ensure it was a seamless change for us. The lovely lady who was preparing rooms moved our luggage across to the new room for us and popped the single beds together to make it a double for us. We had dinner there on the Saturday which was absolutely amazing. The stay was perfect. Staff were attentive and friendly. plus we had our dog with is who was made very welcome. We'll definitely stay again.

    Located in the heart of beautiful Kent hop country, but we didn't have the opportunity to explore as we simply booked the accommodation for the night, prior to attending a wedding the following day ~ & then straight home to our smallholding in very rural mid-west Wales.

    The perfect location for us to get away for my nephews wedding in the exceptionally quiet village of Staple just perfect absolutely perfect, to walk around the surrounding area although roads was a pleasure as there was no real traffic just the odd car which wasn’t very often. The staff were all absolutely fantastic and the accommodation perfect for our stay they made our stay at the Black Pig perfect.

    Lovely location in quiet village of Staple, very welcoming from all staff, good inexpensive restaurant. Breakfast was very good & included in room rate. Bedroom good for short stay although beds slightly uncomfortable but ok. Pet friendly with large garden area for sitting out for a drink etc.

    Fantastic bar and restaurant, outstanding food and hospitality from all the staff and the locals that were drinking in the bar at evening time , breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel . Very quiet location with comfy bed . Couldn’t ask more
