Beautiful duplex apartment. Very clean, modern, well equipped and well located. It felt luxurious and we would definitely book here again. Lovely cafe/bistro almost next door for breakfast, lunch or dinner, which was very convenient. Also Indian restaurant/takeaway and pub in short walking distance.

Where to start. Immaculate. Exceptional quality. Comfortable. There were three of us, plenty of room. The location was perfect. I used the bed settee, best night's sleep in a long time. There is plenty of free parking, big spaces too. Easy check in and check out system. Felt safe and secure. Highly recommend. I had a few queries to ensure I'd made the right booking, Alison returned my call and answered all my questions and was very friendly. The website images are accurate. The whole site and apartment were as good as they looked. For the price, I imagined it would be too good to be true, and it wasn't. It really delivered

Excellent apartment. Beautifully presented with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and it was perfect to use as a Base for a weekend of walking in the Peak District. The guide that was emailed to us was really handy. We loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom.

The facilities were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the sauna with red lights—it was the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking. The location was amazing, with a stunning cliff and several caves just across the road. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring the right gear this time, so I could only explore two caves, but it’s definitely a reason to come back! The small waterfall and creek right outside the house were lovely touches, and during a morning walk, I even came across a hidden pond in the woods nearby. The outdoor BBQ area was another highlight—this place has everything for a perfect getaway. I’m already looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy cave exploring, hiking, swimming, the sauna, and a BBQ under the stars.

The thoughtfulness of the facilities are brilliant. It is a super base to explore the Peak District, by foot or car. The apartments were really well equipped and furnished also. The manager was really lovely and friendly as well.

    Beautiful accommodation and surroundings

    Beautiful accommodation and surroundings , great hosts, very helpful and responsive to messages. The accommodation was finished to a great standard, modern, classy and clean. (Sofa bed not so great but I haven't found one yet that is). We like to cook when we go away , we also like to prepare food for hiking so this place aas perfect. We did see lots of local pubs and chips shops which is great for those wanting this. Also had EV charging...made it a great choice for us.

    Really nice apartment. It had everything you would need. Car park big - easy to get a space. Good location. Nice and warm. Big comfortable bed. Sofa bed in living room should you need it. The host had it set up for us as requested. Was in the area for the ultra challenge - just wish we had booked a second night there!

    Fantastic accommodation, immaculate, great quality, so comfortable, everything we needed, terrific free parking. It exceeded my expectations. The people who owned it contacted me by phone when I raised a query. We could not have asked for better service. We thought at that price it was too good to be true but it wasn't. It really was that good

    if you are going alone and are under 5'5" don't bother going...

    if you are going alone and are under 5'5" don't bother going as you won't be able to reach the cupboards with glasses and crockery. I came home after the first night and I had paid for 3 nights.

    Loved the modern clean lines of the furnishings. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk sachets were in the kitchen together with 2 small bottles of water which we appreciated. Washing up liquid, sponge, dishcloth and hand wash soap also provided. The bathroom had a great shower with body wash, shampoo and liquid soap also provided. Large car park and outside facilities were good. This has been our second visit and we plan to come again. The walks in the area were great together with nice shops in Bakewell and Matlock.

    Good size , clean room with comfy bed and great shower. Bathroom benefits from underfloor heating too. Lack of some basic kitchen utensils and equipment such as wooden spoon, spatular chopping board and larger sieve. No hand soap either as part of toiletries. No where to drainer dishes. However a great apartments and good value for a couple of nights away. Good location and would recommend.
