Very nice old building. The rooms don't have numbers but names from surrounding villages. The food was very good. We did not leave the premises to go out for a drink or to eat. Parking is available behind the hotel. We had a lovely stay. Tentered is a nice old town.

Beautiful, clean cabin. Great decor and everything was modern which we liked. Hot tub was perfect. Views lovely. Peaceful and relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful. On site bar/restaurant was great.

The farmhouse has been modernised and skilfully converted. The rooms were spotlessly clean and practically furnished. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and was all made with fresh or homemade products (granola, fruit salad, jam). Anna welcomed us in a very friendly and courteous manner. She puts her heart and soul into the business and is fully invested. We would definitely recommend it to others and look forward to coming back.     Lovely high street albeit very busy at times, being a main route. Some nice shops for ladies and gents. We sampled two restaurants and enjoyed the food and service in both and finished both of our evenings in the Grape Vine listening to some jazz which was very relaxing. The White Lion is well placed in the centre of town and the service and beer were very good and the room was comfortable and clean.

    A great location. Very comfortable stay. Great for golfers although it was a 9 hole course but you can go around twice to get 18. Golf reasonably priced. Decor a little dated but the size of room and view from the balcony more than made up for that. All in all stay exceeded expectations. Found a little gem will return again.

    The "Spirit of Tenterden Festival" had just started when we...

    The "Spirit of Tenterden Festival" had just started when we arrived and it really added to the lovely atmosphere in this small town. The High Street is a vibrant mix of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars with an eclectic selection of buildings, making it a wonderful place to simply wander. Chapel Down winery is only a few miles away (and walking there is possible along the High Weald Path, which crosses the High St.), the heritage railway and museum is great, and there are many other places locally to visit. We would definitely return to visit some of the other places and would choose Tenterden to base ourselves.

    Stayed in Tenterdon for a visit to Chapel Down Vineyard. Excellent location for this with a taxi costing £15 e/w but it is also on a local bus route so check the timetable to save money....Lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Tesco and Waitrose also very near by.

    Did the Vinyard tour, and then early evening enjoyed an Italian meal in the town. It was impossible to get a Taxi home as there are none in Tenterden, It's bizarre! Only private car hire, who arent intersted at short notice. Restaurant manager kindly found someone to take us back to our hotel.

    Lovely little cottage, very small not ideal for people...

    Lovely little cottage, very small not ideal for people taller than 6ft. Very dangerous stairs would not recommend for the elderly. Unfortunately the property needed to be a little cleaner. The floor was dirty and a poo bag was found by the back door. Apart from this the location was great next to all the shops and pubs.

    The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed during a period of very hot weather, so the fan provided in the room (and complimentary water) was very welcome. We stayed for a delicious breakfast next morning, which was perfect. This is a great pub to stay in, with a very large car park and centered in the middle of Tenterden. The manager and staff worked very hard and we really enjoyed our stay....thank you.
