stunning location right on the Mumbles quayside overlooking Swansea Bay . My room was tastefully and sumptuously decorated . I loved the colourful and coastal inspired interior design in the bar and restaurant with a great choice of seating areas . The menu choice was excellent and varied with plenty of choice for vegetarians like myself . Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and satisfying .

Lisa is the most wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble. Gave us a number of suggestions where to go and have dinner, Rhossili was the the bedroom we had with a stunning view of Swansea bay. Wonderful bathroom with a slipper bath and shower. Welsh cakes in the room with a great selection of teas and coffee. Breakfast was cooked to order with an amazing selection of pastries, cake, fruit salad and fruit. As a parting gift Lisa gave us slices of her homemade apple cake. The house is very close to many bars and restaurants and the seafront. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Such a lovely cottage, the decor is fab. So much attention to detail! We spent the day mooching about mumbles (everything you need accessible by foot) and both evenings on the terrace watching the fireworks over Swansea. A fab location with amazing views. You can hear the sound of the sea from the terrace which was so relaxing while we were having our morning coffees. Perfect little weekend away!

A very large apartment which could easily accommodate up to 6 persons. It was a very, very nice and cozy place. We loved the retro themed kitchen and the fact that there was a "kids" room. The large terrace with a view over the pier was an unexpected bonus. We were very happy about the place, and the fact that it's built on top of a pub (which doesn't bother tourist during the night, as it gets closed around 23:00) is only another great asset of this lovely place :)

Great location and lovely home. Very spacious. Supermarket and lots of restaurants nearby. Bottle of juice and milk in the fridge was also a very nice gesture. Host was very helpful. My son left something of emotional value and Vicky helped us sort it out. He's very happy to get them back quite immediately. They've been more than helpful. We will definitely be back next time we're in Mumbles and highly recommend their accommodation. THANK YOU!

Delightful seaside town with great eating places to suit all tastes and pockets. Plenty to do which we didn't cover as we were their for cycle event but would like to return some day. We like to walk everywhere and it was all accessible. But there were plenty of car parks so everyone was happy. The pier was cute. Johnnie's Fish and Chips were good, but nothing eclipsed Joe's Ice Cream!!

The Mumbles makes a great base for exploring the wider area of The Gower, There are good places to eat there and many more just a short distance away. So many beaches are within walking distance and the seafront promenade is a safe place to walk and cycle. Best of all is the Joe's icecream parlour.

    Lovely area.

Lovely area. This was just a taster for us, a nice little quiet getaway. It was surprisingly busy along the seafront on Mumbles Rd. Lots of car parks with easy access. We were lucky and got free parking spots for one or two hours. We plan to return in a year or two when the construction work is finished and will plan our visit to see the attractions. We ate at The Pub on the Pond who do a lovely fish and chip meal. There is a paid car park behind it.

Mumbles , The Gower and Swansea is where I grew up and go...

Mumbles , The Gower and Swansea is where I grew up and go back at least a couple of times a year. Mumbles can be congested especially in the summer and parking can be a challenge but it's still worth it. Lots of restaurants... Verdi's is brilliant for Italian meals, coffees and amazing ice cream in a great setting on the promenade. Make sure the work rebuilding the sea wall has moved along. Johnnies fish and chips are superb...the best we've had. The restaurant at Langland Bay is a nice venue in a lovely location especially for lunch on a sunny day. King Arthur pub in Reynoldston is another good place for meals. Oxwich Bay is a good place for dog owners where their allowed all year unlike the other bays.

The Mumbles is a lovely small town with an excellent array of shops and lovely walks. A good choice of restaurants throughout as well. We enjoyed Verdi's and Joe's Ice cream. An easy drive to the wonderful beaches on the Gower peninsula as well as close to the city of Swansea.

Mumbles is a great place to stay.

Mumbles is a great place to stay. Situated on the shores of Swansea Bay it is also the gateway to the Gower peninsula, the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Britain, with its varied and spectacular coastline. Mumbles village has a host of restaurants and cafes (don't miss the famous Joe's ice cream or Johnny's fish and chips!), plus good clothing shops and art galleries. The short walk out to the lighthouse at low tide (check tide times before you set off) is well worth doing. Mumbles is packed with history, particularly that of The Mumbles lifeboat.

The room was clean and comfortable, the welcome excellent. We loved the large shower. The hotel fronts onto the newly refurbished prom which will be lovely when finished, and makes Oystermouth Castle and all the shops/eateries/bars easily walkable. It's only a short drive to the stunning Gower beaches and headlands.
