I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Nothing was too much trouble to ask them. Dorm was very nice and good to have an en-suite inside it. Drying room was well used after a wet week. I'll be back.

Everything! The location is superb, the staff are very friendly (particularly the lovely Spanish waitress who served us breakfast), and the rooms are comfortable, light and airy with beautiful views of the loch. I should also highlight the food served here is the best we have had all trip. Unreal.

I had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and great service. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The view over Loch Maree is simply beautiful and the room was clean and cozy, the hot showers were perfect after a long day. Overall, a wonderful experience.

We really loved it here. We stayed in the tipi tent, which also hab a bench out front and a shed with all necessities. There was a shower, a chemical toilet, a sink with running water, a tiny kitchen with a gas cooker. They also had spices, cooking oil and instant coffee. The bed was really comfortable and the tipi tent was super spacious. Our highlight aside from the accommodations was the croft itself. There were sheep and pig and the owner was super friendly, showing us that the pigs could be petted. We ended up feeding them our strawberries, because they were so cute. It was just a special and quiet place to sit, breathe and enjoy the view. If you are up to a bit of nice glamping, we would recommend highly and we‘re already planning on returning.

We really enjoyed spending some time off grid at Eileen's place, close to Skye but still far enough from the crowd. In the tent there's all you need for a comfortable sleep.

The house and grounds were the outstanding part of our stay. The house oozes character and history. Perfect for a Highland stay. Felix and Sarah our hosts were friendly and helpful, a special mention to Phillipa who went the extra distance to make our stay perfect. If you want a true Highland experience then a stay at the Torridon estate will not disappoint.

Wanted to check out the town gallery to see if they sold the Torridon estates artists work. People were inside, eating or such, and it said OPENED but the doors were locked. We were on our way out of town around 11:00 am. Sad..we were in the mood to buy and to have a hot drink! Doesn’t say much for the community! Also, on our way into town, the night before, 2 people were sitting out front of the local store or restaurant and we had our car top down and waved! They just stared at us! Not too friendly!

This is no ordinary accommodation as one is staying in a family home which is being developed by the owners. The bedrooms are well renovated with comfortable beds. No tv which did not bother us. Instead, the house is peaceful.

We called ahead to Torridon stores and placed a grocery order. Jo, at the stores, was most helpful and provided most of what we needed. The rest we picked up at Tesco in Inverness. There is another useful store at Sheildaig. We had excellent meals and service at the ‘Bo and Muc’, ‘The Walked Garden’ at Applecross, ‘Kishorn Seafood Bar’ at Kishorn. Ben View was perfect for a family get together with four generations spread out through the house. It is difficult to imagine finding a place that could offer better, ever-changing, views.

Torridon is simply one of the best places if you want to decompress and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The scenery is both dramatic and very beautiful, but also extremely peaceful and calming. I would love to visit this place at any time of the year (if it's accessible)

We only stayed one night whilst on the NC 500. Would be nice to stay longer but quite pricey for a B and B. We ate at Torridon Inn 4 miles away, worth the journey , alternative would be further away. Make sure you book somewhere to eat before travelling. Surrounding area is stunning. Torridon is a small Hamlet and quite secluded so take provisions. We arrived on a Sunday and the cafe was closed. The cottages would be a good option for a number of days so no need to eat out.

I think Torridon YH is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The team who run it are fantastic, and so warm and friendly, and so helpful, I had such a banter with them all.The whole place is spotless, a fantastic kitchen with everything for cooking and 3 cookers. The bedrooms were clean and spotless, and I was lucky to be put in a room with a shower and toilet too. Beds were very comfy too. There was nothing I didnt like while staying there.

Nothing! This is a SCAM HOTEL! None of the photos look like the rooms or even outside! Its absolutely shocking! Im glad we only booked for one night. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. Its a mess everywhere inside, right from when you enter the mess is everywhere. Kids toys and shoes lying around, open drinks and food lying around. Carpets never seen a hoover! Jeez so bad felt like being in some horror movie.

The hostel is a great base to go hiking in torridon and the surrounding areas. The people who work there are friendly and gave some great suggestions on what hikes to do based on one's fitness levels and goals. The common lounge was amazing - gave a very luxury vibe to an otherwise good, clean hostel (which exceeded my expectations)

Beautiful enormous old property, lovely big room and beds. The delicious breakfast was served in the room and included a boiled egg, croissant and cafetière of fresh coffee, amongst other foods. Located on Loch Torridon it would be a wonderful base for walking.
