The location is perfect making everything easily walkable. The bar and restaurant are really good (excellent food with plenty of choice without being overwhelming). The staff in the bar and restaurant were all charming. I very much like the quiet guests only sitting room. As a solo (older) woman I would highly recommend The Bear.

Comfortable room and bed. Great interior design. Wonderful local-produce breakfast. The staff and especially Tim were very friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved the separate guest area and the little shop 🙂

The site is lovely with lots of space. There are currently 3 yurts with a 4th one being built. The site has a small but well equipped kitchen with a BBQ. There is gas to boil a kettle & have hot showers. The yurts are well designed with a warm homely feeling. Vidar was very friendly & explained everything on our arrival. We walked to a local pub for dinner the second night which was delicious. We would stay again.
