Our stay at the Burleigh Court Hotel exceeded the (already high) expectations we had for our trip to the Cotswolds. The location is stunning, the staff was very friendly and helpfull with good suggestions for local activities and places to go to. The gardens and many places to sit are superb. We can highly recommend this hotel for your trip to the Cotswolds

Dinner was like from a picture book! I find it really tacky when people take smartphone pictures of their dinner in a restaurant but I made sure no one was looking at me when I did just that because my dinner looked just superb and tasted equally great. Service was also perfect. This is a hotel I would highly recommend!!

The Stonehouse Hotel was a sight for sore eyes, (a pleasant surprise) after walking 5 1/2 hours on the Costwold Way. We loved the hotel, the grounds and our room. We also found the staff, specifically the young man checking us in (sorry didn't catch his name), a waitress named Asuka, and the bartender Yaughtski. Hopefully we spelled that right. Lol. Yaughtski without a doubt made our stay welcoming and fun.

A great hotel right in the middle of Wotton under Edge. Charmingly old interior with uneven floors but our rooms were well maintained and surprisingly big. Good service, good restaurant.

Uley is a lovely village in a beautiful valley with more amenities than you would expect. Easy access to the community owned millenium field (9 acres of carefully managed wild flower meadow) from which you can easily access numerous beautiful walks. The community owned village shop and post office is very friendly and well stocked. There is a great pub (The Old Crown) that serves excellent food. A huge bonus is the Prema Arts Centre with exhibitions, resident artists and regular work shops and live music. The Vestry cafe at Prema serves wonderful food and drinks from Wednesday to Saturday, 9am to 4pm. Uley Brewery is also worth visiting, open for drinking the local brew on Friday evenings.
