This is a newly renovated guest house and our room was beautifully presented with a lovely soft decor. The staff are exceptional and have created a family atmosphere for their guests and we felt immediately at home, appreciating an early check-in in time. Nothing is too much trouble for them! We have been self catering on our holiday and although a continental breakfast can be bought for £10, we chose to prepare our own breakfast in our room’s kitchenette. There is no toaster in the room, but staff were more than happy for us to use the one in the breakfast area. There is a large, comfortable lounge/dining room with a large TV, couch and tables and chairs for guest use and a large variety of coffees are available from a coffee machine at no cost. The bed was very comfortable but small.

Everything...!!! Didn't want for anything at all within the property, loved the cream tea waiting in the fridge for us upon our arrival and the card wishing us a great holiday. Property is in a great location right in the middle of town and only a very short walk to the beach and harbour.

Busy Cornish harbour town with plenty of gift shops , takeaways , cafes and restaurants . We ate Fish & Chips at Catch , which we gave 10/10z. We had takeaway from the Peking garden . We all enjoyed our dinner at Suggkers Cott . We finished our week at the Sardine factory which was good . There are lovely beach cafes at Millandreath & Talland bay !

Looe was such a quaint and pretty little town with lots of little shops and restaurants to visit. The main beach area looked fabulous but it does not allow dogs on it so we took our spaniel to a nearby beach with rockpools. We also visited Polperro and the Eden Project which were near-by. Most restaurants don't allow dogs though and require advance booking during busy periods. Most pubs allow dogs in and most provide water and some provide a basket for them. There seemed to be adequate parking and Looe has a pretty train station located a few minutes from the centre.

I've been going to Looe since I was a child and my daughter now loves it there to. So clean and clear waters to. Lots of nice places to eat and seals in the near by nature reserve. Highly recommend getting a row boat rental to see them yourself. Was absolutely amazing.

We visited Looe to join family membes for 3 days, the Hotel was good, though without transport it may have been difficult. There were good views of the coast from the Hotel, it was on quite a steep hill to walk up from Looe, but manageable using a walking stick. We were late in joining family members at a Restaurant in the town, our places at the table were available, but there was no meals served after 8 o clock, so we left without eating. We found a Pizza place, which was quite satisfacory but that was closed by 9 p.m. These times seem rather early for high season holidays. We preferred the quieter hilly sides of the town, the town centre was rather crowded, and the local bus service did not seem particularly adequate for a busy holiday spot and for visitors to get to neighbouring beaches withou the use of a car. We had 2 and ahalf days our of 3 of lovely sunshine

Looe is a lovely town with a picturesque harbour. Think to book ahead if you want an evening meal though there as we couldn't get in on spec. This was disappointing as there were a few restaurants we'd like to have tried.

Excellent breakfast with good options to try alternatives to the full English if you wanted, but no pressure. The full English was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the alternatives I tried. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location with all Looe attractions within walking distance. We drove there but didn't use the the car for getting around Cornwall because the train and bus services were within easy reach and inexpensive. Highly recommend Cherrywood Lodge and will be going back.

My daughter and I stayed for a girlie weekend. Location is perfect right on the harbour beautiful views of Looe Bay. The hotel is very clean, staff welcoming, especially the lovely lady at breakfast, so friendly, think she may have been called Gill, chatted to us, and gave information on where to go. Breakfast was very nice, one of the best I've had. We would definitely return.

The hotel is situated in what we thought is the perfect spot, the views from our balcony were stunning. They even supply binoculars in the room! The staff can't do enough for you and were very attentive when it came to meal times. We enjoyed our stay so much we have rebooked for next year. Looe town is a must and the glass bottom boat trip was enjoyable.

Location : Shortish pretty walk to Looe. Had great swim at East Looe. Room N5: Comfy bed. Good shower. Little patio area. Refrigerator didn’t make a noise. Didn’t use the cooking unit but it might have come in handy. Complimentary coffee machine in reception and visitors lounge, where we ate our own take-in dinner. Recently refurbished hotel.
