It's an extremely well thought conversion and in a very tranquil, offbeat area yet still close enough for many walks in the moors. The cottage also had all sorts of facilities for cooking etc so it is perfect to stock up and cook food.

There was no official breakfast and we had done a shop for provisions but there was a very thoughtful welcome package with cereal, milk and goodies which was a lively surprise

    Great location for walkers close to main roads but also able to go off on bridal ways, location can feel remote for some people nearest village is Castleton one pub and one shop. This property is in Westerdaleside not Westerdale village and is down a farm track. Within easy reach of Guisborough, Saltburn, Redcar, Whitby etc
