Comfortable, clean and quiet room. Very good breakfast choice. Friendly and professional service. Wide choice of menu for lunch and dinner. Good, tasty home cooking. On-site parking. The owners went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

    The Cottage is a little gem of a place. The comfiest bed of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Great power shower. Gorgeous location, walks along the canal, The Dragon next door etc. Free drink is a nice touch. Staff welcoming and friendly. After a second fabulous stay already looking forward to the next.

    Excellent service from all the staff. Friendly, helpful, efficient and wonderfully cheerful. Rooms were stylish - four star hotel standard - and recently refurbished. Loved the a la carte breakfast - if (like me) you just want a slice of toast and a cup of tea, why pay the same as a full English?
