The location was very central. The hotel was new. The breakfast was plentiful. The staff were very polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room was dark. We slept very well. We are very experienced worldwide travellers, and I would say that this is the best hotel I have stayed in for price quality in the UK (probably because it is new). Parking is found up the alley to the left of the hotel.

The room was cosy and comfortable. I have never seen such a varied Gluten Free menu, which takes the stress from having to look through Allergy Charts. Thank you SO much, it was a joy to stay and eat at the Red Lion and to be served by polite friendly staff.

    it is a lovely, historic Inn. Proper “inn” style where you arrive into the bar and the rooms are at the back. The food is excellent - great British basics like steak and ale pie! The staff are really friendly and kind. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the location is the heart of historic Hampshire with beautiful countryside and many walks and attractions around. I would definitely recommend the Winchfield Inn as a cosy, down to earth base for exploring the area. it’s very good value for money.

    Great rural location but with easy driving access to some lovely local villages. Opposite Winchfield rail station which is on main line from Central London to the south coast. Comfortable clean cosy pub with friendly staff and owners. Lovely beer garden and large car park. Good sized clean room.

    Great getaway from the hustle of London. It was nice of them to make the room available earlier than the check-in time. The walks and the cycling around the hotel were great! The rooms were spacious, and we had a great time, just what you'd expect from a typical Four Seasons stay!

    We visited the hotel during the Christmas season, and it was beautifully decorated, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The grounds were also stunning. Our room and the hotel grounds were impeccably clean.
