Just stayed at this lovely location near Woodhall Spa . Had originally intended a one night trip but liked it so much we extended our stay Karen and Tony are wonderful hosts and the area is excellent for exploring the Lincolnshire countryside. The site is peaceful and quiet , loved the ducks nearby and the partridge that came to call. My first time in such a luxurious tent , which I will be repeating again. My wife and myself thoroughly enjoyed our break and would recommend it without hesitation. Many thanks to Karen and Tony and happy Ruby anniversary!

    I had a most enjoyable 3 night stay in Woodhall Spa including one day shopping. I explored the facilities in the woods including the cinema which was a great experience . The staff at the Petwood hotel were without exception helpful and smiling and always willing to help. the bed very comfortable and food good i would recommend this mini break to you especially if you have mobility problems as everything from hotel to town is on one level and i used my little mobility scooter with no problems christine

    It is about a 10 min walk in Woodall Spal and the town is very typically English which we loved. We enjoyed visiting the nearby park where there was a live band playing 40s music. The local people were very friendly and most said "good morning" to us. We had very good weather which was wonderful. We ate at the Indian restaurant on the first night and the food was very good. The second night we ate in the Petwood Restaurant and again very much enjoyed the food.

    It is a delightful country town with an attractive centre and good selection of shops It is the centre for English Golf with two excellent golf courses There are plenty of dog friendly walks and generally quite delightful Probably a good wedding venue

    This was our 4th visit to Woodhall Spa.

    This was our 4th visit to Woodhall Spa. The town is compact with a variety of shops (the cake shop being very popular). The Tearoom in the woods and the Kinema are both excellent venues. The meals in the Tearoom are delicious and good value for money

    Woodhall Spa is the headquarters of English Golf with some first class courses nearby There is also The Battle Of Britain Flight stationed at RAF Conningsby which is well worth a visit and Lincoln Cathedral also Woodhall Spa is a very pleasant small town with nice shops and restaurants Very nice to walk around By the way the Dower House hotel is an excellent wedding venue

    Lots to do around the area, the town is a short walk from the hotel, plenty to read about the 617 Squadron, I am not really a 'War' person but found all the info and monuments Humbling. Especially as we used to drive to Derwent Dam (where the bouncing bomb was practiced), also seeing the last remnants of the bouncing bomb in the grounds of Petwood Hotel. The tea rooms, park with outdoor swimming pool, all worth a visit.

    Beautifully kept, spacious accommodation with lovely conservatory and peaceful private garden. The bungalow has everything you could need and more besides. It is ideal for anyone who has mobility issues with step free access and en-suite walk in shower with seat and grab rails. Good base for touring the area as well as for taking advantage of all Woodhall Spa has to offer. Highly recommend visits to Gunby Hall and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight visitors centre

    Beautiful Lodge inside and out. Everything was thought of and there were lots of lovely touches throughout. The view on the deck and the hot tub were fantastic, as was the site itself. The location so close to Woodhall Spa was just perfect. The hosts were really helpful too, I would definitely recommend this place!
