Room was spotless, well appointed and warm. Shower was great. Bed was comfortable, slept like a log. It’s a room above a popular pub so expect some noise although after closing time it’s sooooooo quiet. Lovely.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. For example, when we brought fish and chips back they set us a table even though we had brought the food in. The decor is amazing. Old wooden panelling, historical artefacts and a beautiful, proper English bar with beautiful real ales pulled by hand. The rooms are cosy with modern bathrooms. Beautiful breakfasts, full English or continental, served with a big smile. My wife and I recommend you treat yourself to a stay in this delightful old coaching inn. Stayed here over night for a concert at Sandringham. Perfectly placed for visiting the North Norfolk coast too! Staff were so helpful, nothing too much trouble. Great breakfast - all you could eat. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
