The road to the mountains was closed so we needed a place where to stay 1 night before they re open the road. We found this place and loved it. Very comfortable room, great staff, great bed. Really lovely accommodation! Wifi worked very well!

Highly recommend! The place is located in a village that feels a bit like in the middle of nowhere, you are in the countryside, and there is a big yard in which to just sit and relax. Very close behind the property, there are big beautiful fields which you can take a walk in. When the host found out that one of us staying there had a birthday that day he arranged homemade traditional food to be made for us and we all had a celebration together and connected. As it is a bit higher above sea level it is cooler there in the summer than in other near parts near like Tbilisi or Kakheti, which is a positive. But for us even staying in the warmth of May it was a bit cool in the room during the night, as the door of the room opens up straight to outside, which for some might be something to consider.

The room and the bathroom were clean. Our host Maka was very pleasant and helpful. She speaks four languages - georgian, english, german and russian. We were very satisfied in Maka's guesthouse and we absolutely recommend this accommodation. And don't forget to order breakfast! Although you don't eat everything because no one has such a big stomach. And everything Is home-made. Enjoy it!

We had a wonderful stay at this fabulous guesthouse.Its in a nice quiet spot away from the main road and we had a couple of very relaxing days here.The meals are outstanding and the host family were incredibly welcoming-we even had a lovely family dinner with them one evening. Sophie had really good english, Eka her mum is just fabulous and Erakli is always going to support the All Blacks except when Georgia are playing. I will reciprocate!! Thank you for looking after us with so much kindness & generosity

Loved everything! The guest house itself, the delicious authentic local food, the gorgeous view of the mountains and the river Ilto below! You can't find a better place; it's convenient and close to Akhmeta. And, of course, Iza and her staff were friendly and hospitable! It’s very cozy and silent place near a beautiful river. It actually looks better than in pictures and it has a private space. Jacuzzi was amazing and I really enjoyed my stay. I also feel very greatful for their service. I had some struggles with my cat and they facilitated the situation with a lot of compassion, support and understanding.
