Top position. Good size room and balcony with 180 degrees panoramic view over the port and the open sea. Kaliopi our hostess together with Sofia and other staff members were very friendly and courteous and of great assistance in making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We will be coming back and definitely will be staying there again!

The location of the hotel is great as it is close to the main port of the island, two supermarkets, and good restaurants. We stayed in a room with a double bed which had a balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The room was also very clean. Air conditioning worked like a charm. Staff was also extremely friendly and brought our luggage to the main port on the day of our departure.

Family run business with perfect rooms, mini kitchen and views across sea. Spotless. 2 mins from the ferry (Melichori). Excellent small restaurant with lovely food. There is a pool which I didn't use as the sea is so close. Fantastic value for money. Dimitria and her lovely family are very helpful. Bike/scoooter shop a minute away and worth taking electric bike or mini scooter to whizz around the entire island. Bakery, restaurants, etc. all very close. Melachori is typical and beautiful Greek village/small town that seems to have many locals living there and is much quieter than Skala about 2 km away. Highly recommended. Excellent for women solo travelers.

The place is amazing. The bed is comfy, and the room very clean with everything you need. There is a parking space which was important for us. The hosts are really kind and they welcomed us when we arrived. We loved our stay in Studio Mare and were able to relax and sleep well. We are definitely coming back.

Perfect location very close to the port. Sea and mauntain views from the balcony. Grocery store and restaurants are just few minutes away. A place to rent a scooter or bike/electric bike iš also just few steps away. Appartaments looks even nicer and more qute in person than in photos. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Just a perfect place to be for a calm and relaxed holidays

    it's the less turistic village in Agistri, and that's why it's perfect I recomand taking a day boat ride with christos and going to the live music nights in the yacht club in milos hotel.

    Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed...

    Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). Both worth a day's visit and the sea is unbelievably clear and inviting.

    I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we had on this side of Megalochori.

    We preferred this end of the strip as it is quieter but still has good beaches, bars and restaurants only a few minutes stroll away. It has a couple of good supermarkets too. There is quite a bit of building work going on so maybe check with your host first.

    We went out of season with few people on the island except...

    We went out of season with few people on the island except the core of locals, most tourist businesses closed. We chose it as it is small and we expected it to be quiet, and only one hour from Piraeus by ferry. Nearby Aegina is much larger and another option, but you would need your own transport (hire cars available). in season i could imagine it being super busy and seeming crowded.

    The Amaryllis is in a great location near the harbour and the old village with shops and restaurants and quaint streets. It has a nice sandy beach with crystal blue swimming, and with beds and umbrellas for guests. It is a family run hotel and all of the family were very nice to us and very welcoming. The restaurant and bar area are very good indeed and the food was excellent. The wifi was good too.

    Location is great, close to everything but really peaceful and quiet. A small beach (no facilities, but you can walk to your room to get a drink) in front of the hotel. The owners are very kind and will look after you. There is a bus to explore this wonderful, small island or you can rent an electric bike.

    Breakfast not included in the price. We ate all our meals at the hotel because food was good and it was convenient. Hotel had lovely outlook over the harbour and the small beach over the road. Nice swimming spot but pebbly and not really a sand beach. Staff were friendly and helpful.

    The staff are welcoming, smiling, very friendly people! The room is cleaned every day!! There is excellent WiFi in the lobby. Yoga on the roof. The walk to the hotel is uphill and there are stairs - it was my sport and I am happy about it

    Everything about this hotel is excellent - I came back twice in the space of one month because it was so wonderful. The room with the sea view is truly superb. The cleaning was done very meticulously too.
