Incredible ancient sites of course, but be aware that everything is hugely overpriced which you expect in a touristy place - but these prices begger belief!! Get your lunch/groceries at a supermarket on your way here as the one we saw was shut forcing us into ridicuously expensive alternative. There isn't a car park for the sites so you have to dump your car wherever you can find a spot on the side of the road and walk - don't waste your time looking for it!Guest review byPhilippaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A quieter town and a great experience seeing and experience the greek way of life. We love the history the sites and museum, hiking and the mountains so ticked all our boxes. So many lovely restaurants, the food is beautiful and our hotel was just perfect for our stay. We stayed at Acropole Hotel and had an amazing meal at en Delphi, located just near the bus stop. The ancient site and museum is one of our two favourite sites in Greece. The views are magnificent, the ancient site is incredible to see, has good facilities, which other sites lack, is well maintained and looked after. We would happily go back and spend even more time there, it was just unfortunate that we had to leave to get to our next destination. Delphi was present and important through the history of ancient and classical Greece. Major events that shaped the social and cultural developments of Greece, and the battles and games remembered by the Greeks, have had connections or left records here. I learned about this place from the history reading for my travel preparation, and it was obvious it should not be missed. Getting some reading before going to the temple and the museum is definitely a good idea. The location and atmosphere of the site are spectacular rather than the ruins themselves which are, sadly, not great compared with many Greek/ Hellenistic sites elsewhere in the Mediterranean region. But there is an excellent museum. All in all, it's good for 3 hours, tops. Delfoi is wonderful but small.
Delfoi is wonderful but small. If you’re coming to see the ruins and the museum, both can be done in one day. A second set of ruins I had planned to visit were closed for refurbishment. The museum takes about an hour maybe less to get through. I would recommend one day only in Delfoi.Guest review byRICHARDCanada
