It’s set in an amazing and beautiful traditional settlement- Dilofo. The views from the village are exceptional looking out and across the area. You could not find a more peaceful location. The property is beautifully kept and Marios the owner is incredibly caring and does everything he can to make your stay amazing.

This resort offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Resort was cozy with beautiful mountain views and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly in whole hotel venues. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with plenty of local specialities. The pool was a highlight and a plus, especially after a day of exploring.

This is a beautiful, comfortable, elegant place and I recommend it absolutely. During my stay I sustained a bad injury (not at the hotel), and I was extremely fortunate that the hotel owner was attentive, made sure I was getting the care I needed, and even stayed in touch with me after my departure, checking that I was alright. So in addition to the professionalism and charms of the hotel I recommend it warmly on the basis of its human qualities. Thank you to the owner!

If you like the freshness and calmness of the mountainous outdoors, if you enjoy majestic views combined with the quietness of remote villages, then "Balkoni Zagoriou" is the place to stay. This is a familly operated inn which offers accomodation with spectacular views of the Zagori mountain range. The food is prepared by Mrs Violetta and you really must try her homemade pies as well as their traditional pastries. Mr. Spyros is extremely helpful and will go out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Their lovely daughter will serve your meals on the terrace, always with a smile on her face and very polite. We booked this double bed room for a weekend stay in the area due to our participation on the annual Zagori Mountain Run (happens every July). This place is about 15K from the start/finish line, or about a thirty minutes drive and is excellent if you want to participate in the event, spectate runners which pass right in front of the inn or simply do some trekking of your own (there are footpaths which begin right on the doorstep of the inn).

This little hotel is amazing! Beautiful mountain architecture and superb interior, large rooms, clean, comfortable. Everything was excellent! When our host found out that we intend to walk the whole Vikos gorge next day, he prepared for us a delicious take-away breakfast, early in the morning! Thank you for the hospitality!

    Lovely peace and tranquility and lovely old houses.

    Lovely peace and tranquility and lovely old houses. No cars and limited facilities in the village. Tumbledown look adds to the atmosphere of the village which has great views over the surrounding hills and valleys, but cobblestone streets can make access difficult for those with mobility issues. One of the most unspoiled and atmospheric villages in the Zagorohoria.

    A beautiful old village surounded by stunning scenery and kept peaceful by there being no traffic. A wonderful place to explore with great flora and fauna and brilliant bird life. There is also an excellent restaurant.

    We enjoyed our stay at Dilofo a lot! The rooms are comfortable and have been cleaned every day. The bathroom is superb. The breakfast is very tasty and we enjoyed the different pies! Best of all was our host Konstantina, who was extremely welcoming and gave us very good recommendations about things to see in the surroundings. We hope to come back!

    This little pearl in the remote village of Dilofo hits my Top-3 list of valuable places to stay. The reason? The generous host, the beautiful restored little guesthouse, the room with a real good bed and the overwhelming home made breakfast! This place made our stay unforgettable.     Gaia is a beautiful guesthouse in a great location for exploring nature and the sights of the area. Elsa was very helpful and friendly.
