I stayed in many places of all kinds, nothing felt like this place. The rooms were exceptional, very spacious. We stayed here to play golf and it was a good course. We enjoyed the restaurant, pool and gym. You do need a car to get to see other things aside from golf.

    There are some lovely tavernas along the sea front, great beaches. We visited the aquarium which is said to be one of the best in Europe and made a lovely day trip with the children. Easy access to neighbouring area.

    Gournes is not big .

    Gournes is not big . Shops , tarvernas , fuel stations all close to hand and short walking distance to beach with lots more tavernas. Waterpark and Dinosaurs Park and Aquarium are all close by . Enjoyed by our grandchildren. Family orientated. Would recommend this to all potential hirers. Minutes from Heraklion airport .
