The Villa met all our needs. With great kitchen and dining facilities we were spoilt for choice. Breakfast on the veranda, lunch by the pool, BBQ for dinner. It all made for great family meals. The Secret Garden was also truly secret. The peace and quiet was so relaxing especially by the pool which we used constantly. The spacious gardens surrounding the Villa matched the ample size of it’s accommodation.

Everything was great! Perfect location, view, private secluded beach. Great hotel, everything is very clean, cleaning every day, delicious and filling breakfast. My favourite is the sun beds and the service all day, the lads were very professional, attentive and friendly. The beach bar is superb. The breakfast is the best i have ever had in all my years of travelling. Very clean hotel. We will definitely be back for a third time.

Couldn’t find a better place to stay! We booked it a very last moment and when we came George told us about upgrade to a better apartment which was great and with additional pool. Right after we did check in George gave us a lot of useful information and tips what to do around. We even received a list of places and restaurants on WhatsApp. It was a pleasure to meet such a nice host. He even helped us to wash a car 😄 The villa is very clean, well equipped and comfortable it has a nice sea view. Close by you can find lots of restaurants. I truly recommend this place to everyone, for sure we want to come back one day!

I would recommend Hotel Sentido to anyone. The comfort of the rooms is top notch, clean, spacious and tidy. The staff is more than friendly. As for the food, it is more than diverse and delicious! I haven't spent my summer in a nicer place for a long time!

    Beautiful relaxing spot away from it all.

    Beautiful relaxing spot away from it all. Lovely sandy beach with clear waters. However, there are no facilities on the beach so you need to take drink/food with you. Whilst we were there they were building a beach bar so hopefully that will be open soon. We stayed at Alonaki Bay which is beautiful and I highly recommend. Simple Greek food cooked well and a wonderful view. Downside is there is no supermarket within walking distance. Probably about 15/20 mins drive.

    Halikounas was a great location for a holiday.

    Halikounas was a great location for a holiday. Our villa was between Ayos Mathios and Halikounas so we ate at different locations each night and actually favoured the village taverna to the sea view ones as they were so much more authentic. All of the menus were similar offering a full greek selection but enough plain food should you not wish to try things. However we would seriously recommend Rozina and Pavlos Taverna as it was so welcoming and encouraged you to try new food.

    It’s a great part of the island with prevailing wind keeping you cool even on the hottest of days. The beach is great, with two beach bars offering reasonable priced drinks and snacks. The beach is initially stoned, but smooth and within a few metres it is soft sand. There are lovely tavernas nearby and a winery. All are great value, with simple food done very well. You will need a car to get about Corfu. Mopeds or Quad bikes are great, but roads are narrow and potholed, so if you are not experienced on 2 wheels, stick to 4. As always in Greece, the locals are warm and welcoming. Corfu is blessed with lots of great beaches, but Halikounas is probably one of the best
