I booked a night with my husband, very beautiful hotel. Friendly staff, beautiful clean rooms , towels , toiletries Apivita were amazing. Spa facilities very clean and well presented. A big shout out for the perfect and delicious breakfast 10/10!!!! Highly recommended.

The breakfast is the BEST!!! The staffs are super friendly and helpful. The room is good size, bed is so comfortable and the shower is strong and good hot water. The hotel is quiet and it’s walking distance to many restaurants. We love Michelle and would love to go back again and have a drink with her!!

    Stayed just one night but wished we had stayed longer. Beautiful walks beside the lake. Lovely island on the lake to explore with a fascinating history. Castle area also interesting and very atmospheric especially in the evening. The new town was extremely lively after dark with lots of great shops and restaurants. Highly recommended visiting.

    This place is perfect for any type of person!!

    This place is perfect for any type of person!! You want a calm environment? This is the place for you. Inspiration? The place for you. Nightlife? Also the place for you. (paradoxically) Adventure? The place for you (but rent or have a car, 'cause these places are 1h or more by car, from Ioannina). There is something for everyone. Food is excellent: Our favorite is Nava, this is a Gourmet Restaurant, but they also have Pinsa and burger, etc. (Cocktails are topnotch as well!!). We also loved Balsamico, Arte (in the citadelle/fortress), and Cafe Chevalier (also in the fortress, amazing place to have a healthy drink, amazing coffee with artisanal ingredients, as well as artisanal home-made ice-cream with no sugar. The environment is poetical!). Ioannina is the perfect place for both day and night life. The fact that in the fortress is basically a neighborhood, makes this place even more amazing. It's like a city inside the city. It blew our minds... It's amazing for having a walk (day or night), eat, have a coffee, or visiting museums (the castle). There is also the island on the lake (Nissos) which is absolutely amazing! You get there by taxi-boat (20 minutes). We are seriously thinking of moving there some time soon if life allows :D <3.

    Ioannina is a beautiful city with a gorgeous lake and a lovely park. It’s a great base for exploring the stunning surrounding scenery like the Vikos gorge and the mountain villages as well as having excellent restaurants and bars and a ferry service across the lake to the island which is both picturesque and interesting. Made a great start to what then went on to being a beach holiday. I would recommend 3-4 nights in Ioannina.

    I actually cut my stay short by one night S l was unwell with a head cold and on my own l would go again but late autumn. It was very hot there, Second wee of June However l feel to take in the full atmosphere of this lovely city autumn would be at its best. It’s very laid back, selection of eateries was good.

    Ioannina is a charming lakeside city perfect for families. The food is exceptional—rich in tradition with delicious local dishes.     We loved the lake front, the Byzantine / Ottoman Castle, and the museums, especially the silversmith museum, Aslan Mosque (now a museum), the archaeological museum, and the historical archive museum in the center of the city, and we also loved the mountainous areas and small towns that were easy to visit in a day trip. Our favorite restaurant was Fysa Roufa, located in the center of town. They have a great selection of local home-cooked dishes, the food is great, and the prices are very reasonable

    Personaly, the house reminded me of my grandparents house, so I found it sweet, it reminded me of my childhood. Otherwise it's an old house, so I'm not sure how guests from western Europe will experience it. It is clean and it has all necceceties, even the smallest ones. The accomodation is 20 minutes walk to the center of Ioannina, which is not hard. It has one parking space so my advice is to leave the car infront of the house and to walk to the center because the city is a total mess for parking. Hot water, clean towels and linen.

    I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in Ioannina. The place was spotless—immaculately clean and clearly maintained with great care. The decoration was thoughtful and tasteful, creating a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Everything was in its place, making the room not only pretty but also very comfortable. The location is perfect: right in the center, close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet at night, which made for a great night’s sleep. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

    The hotel is located 5min by car from Ioannina University and 10min from the city center. It is cosy and very nicely decorated! The room is modern with a comfortable bed and a/c. All the staff and the owner were really nice and helpful. They even arranged earlier breakfast time for one day, only to serve kids who had to report for an exam at the uni!

    This hotel is in a perfect area. Historical center of Ioannina is amazing and you can walk there just in 2 minutes. The room was good and cleaned. Forniture was not amazing, a little bit old, but if you consider the location and the breakfast it’s a very good choice. Hotel has the parking too.
