If you're looking for a quiet retreat in Messinia, the Sunrise Village Beach Hotel is the place to go. I loved every moment. The hotel's location is idyllic, surrounded by nature and right on the beach. My room was well-appointed and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and complimentary water bottles. The service was impeccable and the employees made us feel like valued guests. The breakfast was also fresh and varied, providing the perfect start to my time for exploring the area. Owners and staff were amazing. The location and views were simply just stunning. Pool great with infinity view, nice breakfast and dinner. What you see in the pictures are true. An amazing hotel with great big rooms and a fine balcony. We did not try the beach but there is a shuttle service from the hotel. All in all just a great stay and we will be happy to return in Spring or Autumn.

Everything, clean rooms, smiling people working here, delicious breakfast, also dinner. Amazing exotic garden and awesome sunset between olive trees, oranges, bananas trees and flowers. We planned only 1 night here, then we came with other friends for 2 nights more. Even the location is isolated, 20 mins by car from Kalamata, you can reach easily to other touristic points. They also have a huge swimming pool and sunbeds, it's real Messinian spirit of easy life here. You can buy olive oil here from producers.

• Apartment: * Close to the sea * Great pool on the roof with an exceptional view * We had 1 balcony + 1 terrace * Spacious room. Facilities are well thought through, clean & had everything we needed. Not superfancy, but practical, perfect for great days on the beach: a rack for wet clothes is available on the balcony, cooking plate, fridge, plates & cutlery, kettle, hangers, etc. • Beach: sand and a bit of gravel, not crowded, barely any people in mid September 2022, perfect for relaxing & peace & quiet, a beautiful place • Good restaurants in close vicinity • The host was super helpful and responded quickly • How to get there from the Airport Kalamata: * The host organizes a transfer if notified >24 h before * We went by taxi (bc we were too late with the notification), 42 e per car, indicated by a table near the taxi stand * Bus: google: "Kalamata - Koroni bus" for the time table. Ca. 5 times a day. Bus stop Kalamata airport: on the main road, ca. 100 m from the airport, red bus station, on the side of the airport. Schedule shows only the times, when the bus leaves from Kalamata (city) (!) -> a few minutes later at the airport. Bus stop in Chrani: "right at the tree" on the other side of the supermarket, near the bakery Bake. The bus was late for 30 min. • A rented car is recommended to reach other places. Public transport is very limited. All in all a great place to be, deserves better rating in our opinion.

Everything! 😀 Sylvia, the host, gave us recommendations for surroundings, car rental, and bus schedule. I enjoyed the fresh figs the host left for us in the fridge. The apartment is cosy, close to city center within a walking distance. For us, it was perfect due to its kitchenette where we prepared breakfast. Petalidi is a small town with few foreign tourists, but vivid, especially during the night when locals go out. I loved the local flavour.

    We had an amazing time at Sunrise hotel. Our room was spotless with a breathtaking view of the sea. We loved having drinks by the pool and go for walks along the beach. For breakfast we were provided with a lot of tasty choices, and the members of the stuff were warm and polite. All in all a lovely stay, wish we could have stayed longer, we would definitely visit again.

    I had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Village Beach Hotel. All was amazing, from the buffet which had plenty of options to satisfy even the pickiest eaters to the clean and nicely decorated room. Staff also was attentive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. A perfect spot for a getaway!

    The hotel’s large pool area is great for lounging, and the panoramic views of the sea are simply stunning. The food was consistently good, with plenty of healthy options.The nearby attractions like ancient Olympia and Koroni Castle made for great day trips.
