This is nothing whatsoever to do with the apartment or the owner but its worth pointing out that the mobile and internet connections are very poor. In the apartment and in the taverners the wifi is fine but the volume of people trying to access seems to over power the system. A beautiful little village by the sea.
A beautiful little village by the sea. We were here 10 years ago and it’s not changed that much, apart from new supermarkets ( with free delivery) There are 3 tavernas by the sea with lovely food. Beautiful bay with shingle beach. Lovely for swimming and paddle board. It was the loveliest bay I visited during my weeks holiday. Plenty of beach beds and parasols. 3 on beach tavernas, the welcome and food at Thomas Place was wonderful so I didn’t eat at the others. The resort is low rise, has a couple of good local owned supermarkets where you can purchase all your basics. Its a 45 minute taxi ride from the airport in Corfu to this little destination, it's well tucked away but well worth a visit for a couple of days at least. You can take the coach to Kassiopi which is about 4 Euro return trip and the bus ride is only 8 minutes in length which was really handy. Make sure you bring river shoes with you if you want to go in the water as they have river stones or beach pebbles along the beach and in the water and can be rough on your feet. Everything in town is within walking distance. Quiet part of the island but well worth it if you are looking for low key beautiful with a hint of Italian vibes.Guest review byalanab12Australia - 10.0

The hotel has a nice restaurant (you should try shrimp saganaki!) and it is located just above the beach. There was some hickup with our room but they offer us a satisfying solution to make it right. Our room view was absolutely stunning. The town is really small and I'd definitely recommend it for a relaxed stay, not so much for parties. We would definitely go again. She is very kind and helped us with everything we needed. Kalami is the best place for family vacations. The apartment is 2 min away form the beach.
