Excellent place to stay with young children.
Excellent place to stay with young children. The sea is shallow and the beach sandy. Everything is in walking distance and the tavernas line the beach meaning you can enjoy a meal or drink whilst children play in the sand. The bay around Kamares has numerous swimming & snorkeling spots off the rocks, recommend the Nth side. Then there's the never ending beach! We swam every morning, with the fish, in crystal water, before breakfast. Great atmosphere at night. Best Italian at Da Claudio, best coffee at Stavros. Excellent shopping. We really enjoyed our stay, plenty restaurants and cafes to choose from and the food was top class. Good shops too. We ate at Da Claudio's on two nights, excellent Italian food and lovely host. Everyone we met in Kamarai was really pleasant. We took the bus to Apollonia - 10 minutes to get there. When we missed the bus home, we took a taxi - taxi no. 3 was very obliging. Although not in Kamarai, we would like to give a special mention to the Cayenne restaurant in Apollonia - not just excellent food, but Dimitri was great. We didn't meet the chef/artist but the flavours of the dishes were sublime.Guest review byAnneIreland

It can be reached with a short (750 Metre) 15 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal. The local Bus Stop to Apollonia is only 300 metres away and the main town centre is only 400 metres away. The room was spacious and comfortable with good bathroom facilities and the lovely Balcony with a sea view across the Bay was an added bonus. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best I have slept on in Greece. The accommodation is located at walking distance from Sifnos port, Kamares beach, and main amenities. The bus stops literally in front of the building. Nantia, the hostess, is very kind and polite.
