The accommodation was wonderful, very luxury, with premium design interior and good taste. Each apartament has 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen completed with huge fridge, oven etc. Outside area is perfect for a dinning with the friends. The pool was good also.

I will start my review with the comments related to the hosts. Starting with Jenne and continuing with her parents, Elefterya and Andonis, we had a warm and very friendly welcome. We received vegetables and fruits from their garden (tomatoes, cucumbers, figs, grapes, melon) and their famous Raki drink. The house is very spacious and includes everything you need (even things you wouldn't expect). The kitchen is fully equipped. There is air conditioning everywhere. There are two large terraces where you can relax watching the sea at sunrise or sunset. The positioning of the house is exceptional with a panorama of the beach and water (being placed somewhere on the hill). The distance to the beach is a few hundred meters (600-700 m). The airport is 10 minutes by car, and the capital Heraklion 15 minutes. Everything we requested or asked was solved in the discussion with our hosts. We felt at home and that is why I recommend this apartment warmly and without hesitation.

George was the best host, I had a problem with lost baggage and he spent half an hour on the phone trying to help find it for me he was very hospitable and friendly, also helped organise a taxi transfer late at night from the airport - very helpful! highly recommend

Great discovery ! Great location, not far from the airport, fantastic pool. The residency is so calm, but transports are nearby (bus literally 4 min away). Karteros' main street provides food and little super markets or beach bar, so everything you need is there. It is possible to go in Heraklion center still. The hotel lets you rent a car and serves drinks.

Amazing experience. My 20 days at George’s felt like home. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, friendly environment and everything very clean. 15€ airport transfer. Couldn’t be more perfect. Will definitely come back!

    Karteros is a convenient location, especially because it’s close to the airport. The beach has some organized areas with sunbeds, but it gets very busy during the summer peak season, particularly on Sundays when many locals also head to the beaches. The sunbeds tend to get taken quickly, so if you miss out, you can still relax on the sand—but bringing your own umbrella is a good idea for some shade.

    We were initially reluctant about the close distance between the airport and the hotel (due to the low planes) but not only were the planes quite a joy to see but it also gave us more time on our holiday and less time faffing about with transfers. The hotel itself was beautiful and all facilities were immaculate and well thought through. The choice of food and drink throughout our stay was wonderful and varied from one meal/day to the next. The staff were all highly professional, friendly and accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for more other than an extra week! We would highly recommend and would love to come again!

    Close distance to airport,minimarkets and beach,everything you need is clos by. WiFi works literally everywhere even outside by the swimming pool. Stuff very friendly even if you ask silly questions, they are always ready to help! Short distance to Heraklion (you can buy bus tickets for 1,60€ from minimarket next door and bus stop is just 100m from the hotel) from where you can take bus to see Knossos for example,it's 15€ for entry), also when you get off the bus in Heraklion their national museum is right in front of the bus station (12€ entry)

    So the rooms are small, but they're cozy.

    So the rooms are small, but they're cozy. You only need the room to sleep in, and it functions just fine for that. They have a pool, laundry facilities, breakfast, and a balcony to enjoy that beautiful sea breeze. It is located directly across the street from the beach and centrally to multiple mini markets and restaurants. Close to the freeway and airport. And staff is fantastic. Highly recommend!!!!

    No air conditioned in bedrooms ! Only in living room !

    No air conditioned in bedrooms ! Only in living room ! We had to live without sleeping because of the terribile hot. When we asked for our money back, they answered that it was'nt specified that AC was in every rooms but is clear that if the house has 3 floors you can not write that there is AC if only one room has it! We wasted money and time

    Really little city, you can find food, and markets, go to the beach and that really is all. Would recommend going to Heraklion nearby and the whole island for a week stay. (Didn't try the Minoan Experience tho)

    - outstanding interieur design, good look on details - very good value (at least besides main season) - very nice and friendly service at reception, they help you with everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible - pooltable, spa, gym included - hotel's car rental cooperation offers good prices with full insurance and cars are in good shape - a la carte restaurant is a nice and once a week free option with very good service and food

    After a few weeks touring Crete I wanted to spend my last night in a nice hotel near to the airport. This did the job very nicely with a nice suite, pleasant surroundings and a private car park. The service was good and the food and drink were of good quality and nicely priced.
