The hotel is lovely! The design, the idea, the rooms with the jacuzzi and the pools, the food, the service, everything is amazing. Lovely and rich breakfast. But really….A big applause to the staff, they were all so kindhearted and friendly, wonderful and smiley, even when working in high temperatures and long hours. The most unbelievable stay at Onira Suite Dreams. Let’s just start with the ‘suite dreams’ side - Onira really is what dreams are made of - the beds are amazing - huge king size beds of the highest of quality. A place can be really amazing on all levels but if the beds, pillows and bedding are not great it can ruin your holiday. But let’s climb out of the super comfy beds wrapped in a big fluffy complimentary towling gown and explore the amazing rooms with black out curtains, invisible mosquito screens on the doors, doors leading onto a private pool with a sea view. Really the suite of dreams. The design and finishings of the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, lounge and outside area - well basically entire Villa are of the highest quality. There is also exceptional attention to detail with the suites cleaned daily, fresh towels put out, water put in the fridge on coffee capsules restocked. Breakfast is amazing and varies daily. That said, the staff are so helpful and eager to make your experience an amazing one that if you like something specific, you can request it to be made daily. I asked for chilli sauce one morning. They didn’t have any, but one of the staff went to get a fresh chilli in the garden and served it freshly chopped with my food. Every day going forward, we received a little dish of chilli sauce. We were fortunate enough to stay for a week but really 10 days would have been ideal. The nearest beaches are a beautiful 1km walk away but we do suggest hiring a car if possible to really explore the island. My car licence expired (much to my surprise when we went to pick up our car in Italy) so we had to stay local and that really wasn’t a problem. There is so much to explore in the area.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience – 5 Stars! From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean, with breathtaking views and every luxury you could ask for. The amenities were top-notch – from the serene spa and modern gym to the stunning pool area and delicious on-site restaurants. The hotel was great, ever since you step inside you feel welcome. Someone meets you at the door and takes your ID for an easy check in. For us it was Gorgos, amazing service from this gentleman! Then he proceeded to guide us to our room while showing and explaining the rest of the hotel. Room wise, not the biggest rooms, but impeccably clean and great looks. The main pool was great, not too full, water all day clean and warm due to the hot weather. Bar service was splendid, you can order from the pool even. Good variety of drinks, including cocktails. Food wise we were also very surprised. It’s not the normal bad quality food all inclusive, it has amazing quality, the a la carte menu helps a lot with this since the food is always made when you order. For dinner we had the Seafood restaurant and the Steak one, both were great, with special mention to the steak one. Overall an amazing experience, tried to rebook already for next time, but it’s really full, which demonstrates the quality of the hotel. Keep it up👍🏻

    Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.

    Hersonissos is lively to many restaurants and bars. Having a car is an advantage as the best beaches and many restaurants recommended to us were not within walking distance. Best nearby restaurants were Areston and Avli. Skipper is reaonable on the restaurant strip. A bus service is available but we did not use it. Lots to do in Heraklion which can be reached by bus or car. We went to Agios Nikolaos and to Elounda. Good walks in both directions from the flat

    I recommend all inclusive because the prices at the terrace and restaurants are quite high.The mayor's office should take care of the city because there are many places that look like after the war.

    It is a nice location having a lot of restaurants and shops. The best location for eating was the White Lion restaurant which I recommend. In terms of activities, you can have some cruises, various trips like safari, jet ski, sea sailing.

    Dress code at dinner is not kept. people (especialy man( come with shots, bathing suits, flipflops etc. Good for families with children. very noisy because of thet. Less suitable for elderly people that look for a quiet resors.

    Promenade wonderful, bars & restaurants either side offering lovely meals. Quieter at the East end, livelier at West End. Really fun place. Only complaint was that some bars played really loud clubbing type music, not impressed when you want to sit & chat.

    - Very high standard accomodation, luxurious modern new building - you could literally stay in your room and they will handle everything for you - Jacuzzi room is something that makes you want to stay in the hotel and just enjoy the private garden with jacuzzi - breakfast to the room - food delivery to the room from a modern greek restaurant - welcome drink and awesome bar (top notch drinks/food) - directly in front of the hotel entrance is one of the best traditional tavernas on Crete - beautiful swimming pool

    EVERYTHING WAS WELL ORGANIZED. VILLA KALLIOPI WAS JUST DELIGHTFUL. SITTING BY THE POOL AND ADMIRING THE WONDERFUL ATMOSPHERE AND THE SUMMER LANDSCAPE LIVING AT YOUR FEET. IT WAS WONDERFUL. THE VILLA NOT ONLY MADE UP TO OUR EXPECTATIONS BUT IT WAS SOMETHING BEYOND LUXURY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THE HOST AND IT MEANS OF COURSE THAT WE WILL BOOK AGAIN TO STAY IN THESE VILLAS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. VILLA KALLIOPI WAS THE BEST CHOICE WE MADE IN ORDER TO STAY IN CRETE.

    The perfect place to stay while you are in Crete! Everything is extremely clean and the hotel was newly renovated and everything in the room is new. The owner and the staff are always there to help you, and they are very welcoming and friendly. The welcoming gift was a really nice surprise from their part. Highly recommend this hotel. If we come back to Crete, for sure we'll come back here.

    It was our first hotel on our vacation in Crete and we have mixed feelings regarding our stay. The hosts are very nice and help a lot with everything. The pool and hotel outdoor area is very nice. Bed linens were good quality. The price is probably very good for that location
