A bit far from the airport but transportation was easy and cheap. Loutraki is a seaside location about one hours drive south of Athens and only a short drive from the famous Corinth Canal. It is a great spot to unwind with crystal clear beaches and a magnificent mountain backdrop. Loutraki has many restaurants and cafes, both waterfront and on the main strip which will cater for all your culinery needs. There are paid sunbeds with umbrellas but also plenty of room to set up your own umbrella and chairs to enjoy your day at the beach. Loutraki is located for easy access to/from Athens and for roads to Peloponnese all within 2 to 3 hours relaxing drive. So an abundance of historical places and secluded beaches to visit.
