Very clean place, friendly welcome and friendly owner, walking distance to the beach (Kalyves) and the village (with a great restaurant). Hot water, mosquito net (no mosquitos, though), fully equipped kitchen, quiet. Absolute recommendation. Thank you, Stefano!

I stayed for one night and it was great! The host Katerina was lovely and always willing to help us also the view from the balcony is stunning. Keep in mind that you need a car as it's up hill.

Maria's place was my favourite. We searched something close to the sea and away from city centre. Everything was great, Maria is so kind and warm person. If I have to rent a room again, I"d choose Maria anytime.

We really liked the accommodation. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The sea view was amazing.The host was very nice and helpful. We stayed only one night before our flight. The drive to the airport took about 30 minutes. The Wi-Fi was strong and the water pressure in the shower was super strong. We were really happy with our stay and we will definitely come back.

The property is located across the beach and in walking distance to all amenities. We stayed in one bedroom apartment( recommended )which was spacious, super comfortable and nicely decorated. All Apartments are designed with love and Imagination by the owner. Especially loved the roof top terrace with views across beaches and village. Our balcony also had mountain views at the back, so choices galore to enjoy.

Stayed in villa Olive from 21/06/2024 to 05/07/2024, it has a big terrace with views of the mountains and the lovely pool. Vamos in the western part of Crete feels more authentic than the eastern part were we stayed previously. There are many restaurant's within a short stroll from the villa serving authentic Cretan food. Also beaches are very easy assessable within a 15 to 20 minute drive. For us, it was a unique opportunity to experience a truly authentic stay in the middle of an old olive tree plantation. The accommodation oozes rustic charm while remaining very comfortable (with AC), and the owners have thought of every detail — the place is extremely well equipped. Privacy was excellent we had the whole property for ourselves), and being surrounded by Cretan nature really helped us unwind and relax. Communication with the owners was great, and they kindly welcomed us with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit.
