Where will I even start. The Ostria Inn is a true slice of heaven. The peace, beauty and tranquility of this gem will not be matched on Naxos and that’s a fact. The food is sensational and Konstantinos and his beautiful sister Eirini simply cannot so enough for their guests. Nothing is a trouble to them and huge big smiles from them all everyday. Ostria Inn has a unique energy coming from the stone walls and waves crashing up against their private beach. If your looking to escape modern world and just let your head switch off for a while this place will not disappoint. The swimming pool is gorgeous with relaxing Sun loungers dotter all around. Take me back that’s all I’ll say to look out again at that beautiful view in their fabulous restaurant drinking a glass of fine wine and eating organic wholesome tasty food. The apartment is located on the quiet eastern part of the island. We highly recommend renting a car. The beaches are beautiful with clear sea, directly in front of the accommodation. A 10-minute walk takes you to a mini market and a beautiful bay with two taverns serving fresh fish. God´s peace! Beautiful place and Sofia is an excellent host.

A must visit when on Naxos! The family who runs the hotel and restaurant are very welcoming and sweet. Amazing homemade, authentic Greek food cooked by the mom. A car is necessary, but it is definitely worth it.

-The owners really believe in their town! They don’t see the property as a business but as a way to show the beauty of Naxos, and you can see it from the moment you arrive… we had a difficult situation while in Naxos and the owners came to help us! Definitely not something to underestimate. -The location was really good, we were able to see Filoti which was in our itinerary :) - The property has a restaurant aside from it, and the food is delicious!! -the room is extra clean as it gets cleaned everyday. 10/10 experience. If we ever come back to Naxos, we’ll be staying here again

A Hidden Gem in Apeiranthos – Perfect Stay at Pera Horio House! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we arrived at Pera Horio House, we felt warmly welcomed and instantly at home. The property is beautifully located in the heart of picturesque Apeiranthos, surrounded by majestic mountain tops such as Fanari, Koronos, and Zeus, with charming stone-paved streets, traditional architecture, and stunning views in every direction. The house is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Every detail feels carefully considered – from the cosy bedding to the fully stocked kitchen – making it ideal for both short and long visits. Our host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. One of the highlights was a magical night stargazing and moongazing, surrounded by mountain peaks in complete silence and tranquillity – a beautiful contrast to the liveliness of the beachfront on the left shore of Naxos. The location couldn’t be better – right at the edge of one of the most beautiful villages in Naxos, yet peaceful at night. From here, it’s easy to explore the island by car, and after a day of adventures, returning to Pera Horio House feels like coming back to your own little sanctuary. We had a very pleasant stay and I have no doubt this place will quickly become a favourite for travellers to Naxos. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authenticity, comfort, and unforgettable Greek hospitality.

    Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house...

    Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house for two people nestled in the peaceful countryside. In the morning, the sounds of buzzards echo, and you can admire the flights of peregrine falcons in a deep blue sky. In the evening, the bells of goats and sheep create a bucolic atmosphere. Nearby, there are beautiful, secluded sandy beaches (Psili Amnos) and pebble beaches (Azalas). Matthew and Giannis are extremely kind and helpful hosts, welcoming their guests with genuine courtesy and delicious produce from their small garden. We spent 12 truly special days. About 12 km south of the house, from the beautiful beach of Panermos, you can daily embark for the splendid Koufonissi.

    A lovely little fishing village. 2 tavernas with lovely food...

    A lovely little fishing village. 2 tavernas with lovely food plus a bar cafe. All by the sea. Very friendly. An interesting place as it used to be a mining town for Emery stones which were exported all over the world. This ended in 1990 but there are still the workings and the locals are very proud to tell you all about it. In May it is very quiet and it was very nice for 4 days. 2 beaches nearby plus a cafe selling home made cakes, coffee, drinks etc and a mini market for all your essentials. We had a very enjoyable time in Moutsouna.

    Moutsouna was such a Beautiful place! My stay was too short.

    Moutsouna was such a Beautiful place! My stay was too short. I walked into town one day which was about a 20 minute walk. There were seaside restaurants and beaches along with history of the marble mining. The food at the Ostria Inn where I stayed was Amazing! The town was close enough for a nice walk with beautiful views and a few cute shops.

    Moutsouna is just lovely.

    Moutsouna is just lovely. Off the beaten track, but there are still 3 tavernas and a supermarket. The ast coast is quiet and worth exploring from Moutsouna, especially Kleidos beach and way down south in Panermos and the historic Acropolis. Take a walk north of the village as well.
