I felt safe in the town and plan to come back as a solo traveller! The only thing I would be wary of is that the locals use motorbikes to go back and forth with supplies to the restaurants as they are too small to store lots of stock, they come down the road really quick and come close too. For me and my mum it was fine, we were able to navigate around, however for those with young children, older people or less abled may find it difficult to handle dodging them on the slippery stones of the old streets.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Skiathos is a beautiful island with stunning beaches and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We loved exploring the Old Town and spending time at Koukounaries Beach. The local tavernas were fantastic, and getting around the island was easy. Our hotel hosts were exceptional – warm, welcoming, and always helpful. Skiathos town is absolutely stunning - lots of beautiful restaurants to chose from - you’re spoilt for choice. We went on a perfect all inclusive sailing cruise with lunch - boat name is Nireas which can be found in the new port - we booked the trip through GetYourGuide beforehand- it was the highlight of our holiday ! Also recommend booking the mamma Mia trip through Poseidon ( old port ) no extra cost for the mamma Mia chapel - we were out for nearly 10 hrs . The ferry is expensive for a trip to skolopes ( £186 for a family x4 for 4 1/2 hrs ) better going on a boat trip.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom

The hotel is beautifully kept, spotlessly clean and the gardens and pool area are lovely. Our room had a small fridge which was useful and the shower / wet room was great.
