The hotel is run by a lovely and very hardworking family. Very friendly and attentive to everyone. It’s a perfect place for families and couples. Very relaxing and beautiful. Would love to come back again. Also, the location is fantastic if you’re looking for some nice atmosphere with bars and restaurants.

I had an amazing experience at this accommodation! The atmosphere was truly delightful and relaxing, just as I had hoped. Everything matched the description and photos perfectly, which made me feel confident and happy with my choice from the start. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. A special mention goes to Filia – a hardworking young lady who was not only professional and attentive but also a truly pleasant presence throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious – well-prepared, full of flavor, and served impeccably. You could tell that great care was put into every meal. Cleanliness was also top-notch throughout the property, from the rooms to the common areas. Another big plus is the location: very close to the beach with fine sand and a gentle slope into the sea – ideal for both relaxation and families. It’s also just a short walk from the lively promenade, where you can enjoy shops, cafes, and a vibrant atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a memorable vacation experience!

Georgios the owner is super nice, he gave us excellent advice where to eat and what to do. Fresh hand picked figs every morning along with a tasty breakfast. The beach is right across the street, clear water and perfect sand all the way into the ocean. It is easy to get from one point to another with the local busses, they drive frequently and are inexpensive as well.

I am not the kind of person who is always happy with everything while living in a hotel. But not the one who expects daily cleaning of the room with a change of linen and a rich breakfast from the Hypermarket assortment :  for 5 €. Therefore, my review will be realistic. The hotel is clean, the rooms are standard, comfortable. Bed linen is clean, bathroom towels are snow-white and fluffy. They change linen on the third day, as everywhere in Greece in hotels and apartments of this class. The breakfast matches my room and breakfast payment. The employees are all polite, welcoming and friendly. My special thanks for the  kidness, always ready to help us Elena and Maria with advice and deed. I appreciate that the hotel reception takes care of the quiet in the hotel area in the evening time. Result: We had a great time sleeping in a clean comfortable bed, having breakfast and relaxing by the pool for a small fee at Niko Elen hotel.

Food great, also one dinner we had at the seaside restaurant - very nice! Ask to books “special restaurants” upon arrival to get a spot. Beach is great, baby disco and evening animation we enjoyed. Some nights were truly impressive (acrobatic trio)

    Beautiful surroundings lots of lovely bars and restaurants on seafront and plenty of choice no extra charges for seafront location Very friendly and welcoming people Not too busy!! Just right May be nice to have some entertainment in bars?? Live music or shows?? Sweet world is a must!! Beautiful breakfast pastries and own made ice cream different flavours most days build your own sandwiches/baguettes all lovely and fresh ingredients and excellent value for money!! Very busy but well run and lovely and clean lovely toilets!! 😁 Frequented Rovers Return it became our “local “ would benefit from maybe occasional entertainment/quiz/bingo ?? Not very busy which is a shame as very nice location surrounding and food!! Lovely shops Would definitely return!!

    We found the local people in the shops and restaurants friendly. Food was delicious and not overly expensive. We felt safe, even walking late at night. There is a sense of Community. We are a not so young, retired couple.

    We stayed on the beach road were it is flat for walking right in the centre of Stalis lots of shops Taverners.and right next to lots of different beaches. Every one is friendly and can help with anything. Local buses are easy to use.

    Surpassed my expectations!

    Surpassed my expectations! Beautiful place, beach is stunning. Lots of bars and restaurants. Touristy but still feels very Greek. Lovely food, we didn’t have a bad meal all week, however the menus everywhere are all pretty similar. Locals are friendly and relaxed. Stalis has a lovely vibe, everyone is happy! Service at bars and restaurants is slow compared to UK but if you’re on holiday who cares?!! You can take the bus to Malia for 2 euros or a taxi for 10 euros. It only takes around half an hour to walk but that’s not fun when it’s hot! The old town is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Would recommend Zorba's restaurant.

    I am in love with Stalida and will travel there again as...

    I am in love with Stalida and will travel there again as soon as possible. Maria’s Golden Beach restaurant recommands, water sports as well. Try always greek traditional food, it is amazing. The kindest people l have ever met when on holiday.

    So many bars/restaurants to choose from.

    So many bars/restaurants to choose from. Average cost of a meal for 2 people with 1 or 2 drinks - £38 They all give you free desserts & shots. People so so friendly, went to Hersonissos and they pester you to go into their restaurants, but not Stalis. Nice selection of shops. Places to visit: Finikas Bar on the beach is just the best, great to sit there of an evening with a drink or two listening to the waves. Dina is amazing!! We went there every night and was the reason we returned for a second year in Stalis in 2024. Greek Grill for food, especially steaks, but it's all good! Nemos - great salads and lovely staff. Mary's Bar for drinks & football if you want it, but not a distraction if you don't. Dorian is great, very funny & welcoming. The only place we didn't really like was Romantic Corner. Would recommend Mike the taxi driver, you will find him at the taxi rank by Finikas/Maria's Beach restaurant. He's great!! You can get his card and then use him for any trips outside of Stalis.

    The negative comments on this platform seem ridiculous, if you expect 5 star hotel apartments go to 5 star hotels 😄 at Iraklis you’ll pay cheap and get really good value! The apartment we stayed this time was amazing with beautiful panoramic view of mountains and sea. Comfortable beds! Towel change every 3 days or upon request. Staff that already feels like family 🇬🇷🤍 see you next year!

    This was our fourth time to Crete and our 3rd time staying at Koni village. So we knew what to expect. Great location. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the beach. The food quality hasn't really changed in 10 years but it does the job. You may need a Rennies if you avail of the local whisky and rum that's on offer to the all inclusive crowd, but the beer is grand.

    The location was good, down a quiet end and only a 5 minute walk into town. The hotel was family run which was lovely and the pool was pleasant enough with a lovely view over the sea. The shop downstairs sold most of what you could need and was open all day every day. Lovely restaurants nearby.
