Loved that the hotel is super traditional and offers temazcal, a very authentic Guatemalan sauna experience. Staff were great organizing a guide for a sunrise hike up to the Mayan nose viewpoint. They were also super accommodating about having to change dates twice. Really enjoyed their typical Guatemalan breakfast as well.

"JJ" is an excellent, English-speaking host. Very good personality for the hospitality business. Remarkable English. I have top floor suite with full sliding glass door/window facing the lake. The private rooms lower floors looked just as nice (just not a full wall-big sliding glass door.

The hostel was very clean and the room super spacious. Everyone here was really nice, trying to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Plus the price is unmatched with breakfast included and an AMAZING view.
