Everything was absolutely great and cool and awesome!🎖✨️ The apartment is large, clean, modernly renovated and has a cozy and unique design. We had everything we needed, the owners are extremely nice and warm people, we were honored to be their guests. The hot tub and sauna are a luxurious addition to all the equipment of the Apartment. This accommodation deserves only the highest rating.🏆 Although Bakar is controversial compared to other Croatian seaside destinations due to its industrial character, I absolutely fell in love with this town, it has it's own spirit and atmosphere, it is also very authentic because it is not the usual main tourist destination. The location of the Apartment is absolutely perfect. If I'll go to Bakar again, this will be my place to stay again!💕💕💕💕

Apartment Afrodita is as in the pictures. It's big, it has everything - big shower, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen (dish washer, freezer, stove...), two separate rooms, tv, air-conditioning, wifi and beutiful balcony overlooking the street and the sea. It's bright and absolutely beautiful. The location is the best. The owner is great, kind, helpful. The whole experience was everything I wanted and more.

The apartment was in a perfect location right next to the sea in a peaceful quiet town and it had everything you needed! Too good for just a one night stay. There was on street parking right in front and the view is incredible. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and we checked in late so they put the keys in a lockbox which was great. Perfect little apartment for a good night's sleep.

    Bakar is a working port with an industrial past, so it is...

    Bakar is a working port with an industrial past, so it is not 'beautiful' in all areas. The areas where the cargo ships are loaded and the coal bunkers are clearly visible wherever you are, so don't expect picture postcard views everywhere. Also, the motorway runs along the top of the hillside behind the town. However, the waterfront and the old town are fascinating and well worth exploring. There is a lot of interesting history to this place and it was clearly very important hundreds of years ago. It's particularly interesting to see how ice cold fresh water springs emerge in the town right next to the sea, so huge shoals of trout swim around in the harbour. The bars and restaurants are much more reasonable than those in 'tourist' towns, so you can save a lot of money by staying and eating in Bakar. Plus, it's very handily located for Rijeka, Krk and the mountains.
