This is a wonderful, brand new hotel just opposite Zadar on the island of Ugljan in a small harbor. The staff is extremely helpful and motivated - both early check-in and late check-out were arranged for free within minutes. The service was also great (the breakfast could have been a little more extensive). The room was also very comfortable, the windows and doors completely blocked out the loud noise of the party outside. There are several beaches in the area within a few hundred meters for children and adults (deep water). Within a few kilometers on the island we found several small bays where there are only a few people and you can snorkel very well. We will definitely come back.

Dragan and his mother were very welcoming, answering queries quickly and making sure we enjoyed our stay. The elevated apartment has a great view of Preko, it is within 10 minutes walk of the port and less to shops and a good selection of places to eat. The apartment is really well equipped to live very comfortably for more than a week with a great kitchen and loads of equipment, big fridge and freezer with cold filtered water, and air conditioning in all bedrooms. There was plenty to do both near and far with bikes, SUPs and boats to rent, buses to other beaches as well as boat excursions. Just a short hop over from the mainland, this was an easy island to get to, we have definitely fallen in love with Ugjlan and the beautiful surrounding sea. We hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The location is perfect - just a 3minute walk to both the beach and the supermarket, which made everything super convenient. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable family vacation. We especially loved spending time on the terrace, enjoying a drink and the shadow. Petar and Marinela are truly exceptional hosts. This was the best host experience we've ever had. They picked us up from the port and even gave us a ride back to the ferry when we left. Throughout our stay, they were always ready with great recommendations on where to go and what to see, and showed us beautiful beaches on the island. We also really appreciated having access to bikes and stand-up paddleboards, which added even more fun to our trip. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

It was just like in the pictures. Air-con worked really well, everything was really clean. They had mixed modern (kitchen, bahroom and bedroom) and vintage (living room) which was beautiful. We could check-in already at noon eventhough we had a plan to go swimming till 15 pm when the actual check-in time is. They had left us orangejuice and coffee+milk in the fridge. All the restaurants, markets, souvenier shops and place to go swimming are 50-100 m away.

Strandhaus Roko is a very beautiful apartman, well-equipped and well furnished, in a very good location, close to the beach and the centre too. The hosts are so kind and helpful, always had a kind word for us. My family of six didn't lack for anything. I highly recommend it.

    Beach Jaz is good for kids and poor swimmers. The little island is a delight. We stayed only a short while and I got hit by a cold so we didn't really get around much. All needed infrastructure is near and there are enough connections to Zadar is someone wants more.

    Preko is a very beautiful and magical place with its own, rather calm atmosphere. Suitable for relaxing by the sea, walking, sitting in cafes and restaurants. But it is also worth more active walks, exploring the island, the view from the castle of St. Michael on the surrounding islands, etc. The color of the water is incredible and clear.

    Preko was fantastic, there's a great ferry service to Zadar (always on time and very economical - just make sure you get the right one as there are two, one to the old town and one to the new!) but more than enough to do on the island itself. There are plenty of nice places to eat, little shops, a couple of supermarkets and a beautiful marina. We hired bikes and paddle-boards (can highly recommend Martin the 'Rent-Man') and so were able to explore a lot more of the beautiful island - we completely fell in love with it.

    We fell in love with Preko. We are very well travelled. This place is special. It’s unspoilt and quiet. The sea is fabulous. It’s clean and stylish. I’d not recommend it for big groups wanting nightlife but for others who want peace in a beautiful location, it’s great! The Croatian people are lovely too. Everything we wanted was at hand- restaurants and bars (but we self catered); small but adequate supermarkets; a daily fish delivery (near the bus area or in the small market in the village); the little island; the quiet beaches (rocky); the marinas and everything. It was a marvellous place to unwind. We were there 4 nights (easy ferry access from Zadar) and we just chilled. The 3 nights in Zadar were great too!

    Good access through ferry from Zadar, good beaches, also sand beaches, not super crowded in the high of season, possibly for renting equipment around, many old small streets and local people. Super wiew to mountain's and Zadar, clean water around.

    Why would you pay 60 euros in Zadar suburb to rent a small apartment with a view on a concrete (blind) wall when for 40 euros you can have your own apartment including a terras overwatching the see, with sunrise in the morning at the back of the apartment and sunset in front of the apartment in the evening? The host invited us with a drink (beer or jus d'orange) and told us about the environment (this is an island only 25 minutes from Zadar with ferry) which was a very nice surprise and very welcomed.

    - Location, small walk away from our favourite beach on the island and walking distance to restaurants - Outdoor facilities, large BBQ, small pool good for a dip, outdoor shower and a nice spot to sit. Facilities were shared but we rarely had to share them - Kitchen well stocked, dishwasher and washing machine - 3 bathrooms, 2 of them with nice showers. Beds were comfy with lots of pillows

    Everything was perfect. Nice and friendly host, amazing location, more than perfect: apartmant is located one step from the sea and beaches, Preko is a really nice village, the accomodation is super. As an extra there is a kayak and a kenue to use. Perfect for family holiday with lot of activities. The surroundings were quite at night.

    The location is stunning. Its a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the island. After a few days in Zadar old town it was luxury to relax on the day beds by the sea and enjoy the comfort of the hotel and its pool. Great breakfast and restaurant in the hotel. The staff we super helpful, cheerful and couldn't have done more for us.
