The apartment is very spacious with great terrace where we spent a lot of time. It was well equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. The beds were comfortable. WIFI worked without any problem. Parking outside of the apartment house is easy. Distance to the nearest beach was very short with one minute walk. The host Elena (and all her family) was very friendly and helpful. It is true that she is able to accommodate any request you can have - upon our arrival a microwave was missing however Elena took care of it and bought a new one. She promptly responded to all our inquiries.

We spent 2 perfect nights in Vir. Services like - bicycles, padle boards, and beach sun loungers were free of charge at any time. Nice sun roof with jacuzzi on top floor with nice view and sun loungers. Room was clean and equipped. Friendly Staff.

Cute tiny studio with the amenities you would need. The host was very nice. The private patio outside the apartment was great. Parking spot super convenient. Multiple beaches within walking distance and super markets about 4km away. Very quiet neighborhood and very peaceful. Sunset spot just 2 min driving. I would definitely come back :)

The staff was welcoming, kind and helpful. Our son is a picky eater, and they did everythig to solve this problem although we didn't even ask. So we are very grateful for the delicious meals they prepared. The family room was perfect for three of us. It was clean and comfortable with two separate bedrooms. The accomodation is located on a quiet street not too far (~10-15 minutes walk) from the centre and 2 beaches.

The villa is completely new. The sea is 150 meters away. The owner was very hospitable, waited for us, helped us settle in. He speaks English well. The process of getting the keys is very easy. The holiday was very calm and comfortable.

    Vir is quite tourist-centric, which has its advantages and, unfortunately, its disadvantages. The island itself is beautiful, I like the hustle and bustle (although we were in Lozice, a little further north, in a quieter part) and there are quite a few restaurants to choose from. However, the shops in the area are like the domestic (Hungarian) department stores at Christmas, no matter what time of year we went shopping: full, the lines barricaded, a minimum of 10-15 minutes waiting at the cashiers. The beaches are nice, the ones we went to were clean, although unfortunately I saw quite a few people littering... There is also the possibility of a short excursion around the red rocks on the far side of the island, the view from there is amazing. The locals were nice, but the car traffic is quite chaotic - narrow streets, everyone is in a hurry, not many people know the stop sign, etc.

    Vir is a village-style resort with limited infrastructure. While there are several restaurants and cafés, the food offerings are quite repetitive—mostly chips, grilled meats, and common fish dishes, with little authentic Croatian cuisine. Most beaches are rocky, with Lanterna Beach being the only one with pleasant sandy areas in the sea. Some water activities like jet skiing and SUP are available, but rental prices are high.

    Vir in Croatia is now experiencing a huge increase in tourists thanks to new better roads and exciting experiences for visitors. It is important that everyone treats nature and the local people well so that the beautiful island can be enjoyed by future generations too.

    In the center of Vir is absolutely neccessary to develop...

    In the center of Vir is absolutely neccessary to develop PEDESTRIAN ZONE and pavements. Restauranst are OK, however many of them prefer group of 4 and more people and couples have to wait to be seated. There are many supermarkets and bakeries. Do not expect any historical or cultural experience, Vir is more for beaches and sailing.

    Really like this location.

    Really like this location. Although it's an island, it's accessible by car via bridge, which makes car trips around fast and simple (e.g. Nin, Zaton, Zadar). There are lot of good restaurants around, nice, clean beaches, local shops.

    Perfect place for family with kids - different beaches even...

    Perfect place for family with kids - different beaches even with sand and shallow water, a few playgrounds, everything is very close. We enjoyed beach sapavac with shallow water and healing mud the most, but we visited 10 beaches and we loved them all. On the other hand - we were there in october and there was not many people on beaches and everywhere which we loved, I am not sure how we would feel in summer when beaches are full of people. Also a lot of fast foods, shops and bars were closed because the season was over so it was like peacefull village :) It must look very different in summer.

    The owners are very friendly. I have never experienced anything like it. I still have a wonderful feeling about it. The place is absolutely great. Not far from the sea (2min walk). In the evening, it is a 15min walk to the town of Vir for ice cream or dinner. The best holiday in Croatia I have ever experienced. TOP! Thank you for everything!! We will definitely come again!

    The location is perfect, the sea is very close cca. 350 meter. It is good for little kids also. The flat is good choice for perfect vacation on Vir island. The homeowner is waited for us when we arrived to the apartment. They are very friendly family. The apartment is better than the photos, the apartment is very clean and peaceful.
