House owner was nice, the room was clean and we got coffe, tea and some chocolate. Air conditiong, tv, free wifi, free parking space. The bed was verry comfy. Everything was as the discription said. We stayed only one night, but it was money well spend. 😊

Full of light , private & quiet area but central for travelling. Comfortable beds & couch bathroom with power shower & toilet with plenty of towels. Fully equipped kitchen ,bean to cup coffee machine, dishwasher washing machine even the capsules are included. Secure allocated parking. The host has thought that of everything to make it a home from home.

We loved everything, but our host most of all! So accommodating, flexible and kind, he helped us understand the bus-schedule and gave us great tips on a beautiful place for swimming and snorkelling close to the apartment! We felt very much cared for! The apartment was nice and cool, with a lovely terrace overlooking the garden and the sea, beds were comfortable and good pressure in the shower. The location is very nice, right by a pebble beach and a couple of nice restaurants, and also close to a hill with a chapel on where we had fun adventures exploring caves, the pine forest and a lagoon. Furthermore it is only a five minute walk to the bus stop where you can take the bus for 7,20euros to Dubrovnik! Zaton was all we could hope for, with a little more quiet life full of bathing places and a lovely promenade by the sea. We had a great time and we recommend with all our hearts.

The owner et was extremely nice and kind given that it was a last minute booking. The room was extremely clean and the view from the balcony is beautiful. It was a perfect location for us, very quiet and just a little bit away from Dubrovnik (about 15-20 minutes). It was perfect for us for one night.

    Zaton is 15min from crowded Dubrovnick, just a right amount of driving on a very nice coastal road to reach the city center. The bay is so peacefull with only a couple of nice seafood and italian restaurants all "pied dans l'eau" Just sip some wine, in the water or on the decks and enjoy the sunrise, the sunset and the moonrise, between water boats and a mountain.

    Zaton was a very peaceful, small harbour village/town with a few restaurants, swimming spots, a shop, as well as opportunities for excursions. Being just off the main road there is easy access to Dubrovnik and other towns. There's a gorgeous church and woodland walk, with great views across the bay. You could easily stay within Zaton for a more secluded and relaxing break, or use it as a base to venture out from. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful - English was spoken by all.

    Zaton is just 10 to 15 min drive from Dubrovnik, which makes it very ideal to stay here and travel to places in Dubrovnik, Public transport is available which runs to frequently to Dubrovnik. Beaches here are less crowded.

    Zanton is nice, quite small, lovely beach and two resturants near by. Please note I would recommend coming by car as closest supermarket is 2kms away and only option to get into central Dubrovnick is by taxi or car.

    Zaton is just off the main road.

    Zaton is just off the main road. Good restaurants, excellent beaches for snorkelling, lovely headland to explore to find more secluded beaches. Boat trips leave from here although the harbour is very busy for parking. Studenac had everything we needed grocery wise. Trsteno Arboretum is a short drive away and the harbour below is beautiful. It is a 15 minute drive to Port Gruz where you can park to get a local bus into Dubrovnik (there is a tourist information in Port Gruz where you can buy Dubrovnik passes). Enjoyed a day at the Walls of Ston. Would recommend Blue Planet Diving for a scuba experience. Excellent base to explore southern Croatia

    Very quiet resort , lovely waterfront restaurants . There was one slightly more lively bar on the front , not sure what time that closed ? We like swimming and snorkeling which was rally good around the headland . There is a local supermarket but it seemed to close most days at 16.00 hrs so get your shopping early ! Also there is a little roadside kiosk/shop that sells fresh bread and pastries etc. Really liked the area , very sleepy mostly but easy 15 minutes in taxi to Dubrovnik .

    This villa definitely is a small heaven. It is located in 20 min by bus from Dubrovnik in a small town of Zaton and is perfect for an idyllic stay for few days or even weeks. Host Darko is always ready to help. You can ask him for transfer from airport, about local markets, restaurants etc. Nearby you can find 4 good restaurants with amazing seafood. I would also recommend taking a walk through a local forest. It's beautiful and chill. Landscapes look like from fairy-tale. Stay at this place was an amazing and peaceful experience.

    Accommodating host, great communication, well equipped small kitchen, lovely pool and various seating areas in well-kept garden. Zaton Veliki was a lovely location. We hired kayaks and paddle boards nearby (Adriatic Kayak Tours - a bit basic!) and took the blue cave tour from the jetty. We got the bus and taxi into Dubrovnik. Would recommend local restaurants Tavern Arka (free transfer), Kasar, Ankora and Veranda 2.0. Don’t miss sunset from beside Restaurant Panorama (book 6months in advance to eat!).

    The place is fantastic. The rooms are large, the breakfast is excellent, the bathroom is accurate and the environment with the bay of Zaton is idyllic! You can use a delicious pergola in the garden to drink something by night. And you can use a space beside the Adriatic Sea to take a bath in his clear water. It couldn't be better!!!
