Small rather typical Hungarian town with friendly people. Excellent place to stay if you want to enjoy Lake Balaton AND a small town's facilities AND beautiful excursions in the volcanic mountains surrounding the western part of the lake. You will have all this without the overpopulation now characteristic to the eastern part of Lake Balaton. Connection by car from Austria is easy and quick.Guest review bySivo - 10.0

Great place to visit. Lovely stay in Gabriella Hotel, but Hotel Pelion was not so good. Would recommend visiting this area of Hungary. Locals are friendly and welcoming.
