A gem of a hotel and quite unexpected in Jambi. Spotlessly clean, wonderfully comfortable, quiet, tastefully decorated, and equipped with every amenity. A delightful rooftop cafe/restaurant. Helpful, courteous, friendly and efficient staff. The best hotel I stayed in during an entire month travelling the length and breadth of Sumatra. Really first class.

    An undistinguished town with little to recommend it, but worth a visit due to its proximity to the marvellous Muaro Jambi temple complex. Also worth visiting simply to stay at the splendid Difan Hotel.

    This is a village hotel. So, you have to judge it on that merit. It is a really good, quiet, area where you can get decent sleep and lots of work done. The room was spacious and clean, as was the toilet and shower. The pressure in the shower was great, too. If you can accept its location, you are getting a lot for your money.
