This was a real find. A genuine eco lodge, where they grow their own food and encourage you to appreciate their land and its produce - rice, fruit and coffee. It's stunningly beautiful, and excellent value for money. We would definitely go back again. Loved it.

We had an amazing time here. Putu and his wife make this place wonderful. We did a great trek with Putu and would deffo recommend it. His wife cooks the best food too! It's a tranquil place within rice fields. If you're looking for a place to relax , unwind and appreciate the natural beauty ... Then don't hesitate and book here! This is one of the best guest houses I’ve ever stayed at! Located in the heart of the jungle, it offers breathtaking nature and absolute tranquility. The guest house’s grounds are stunning, with lush greenery all around, creating a truly magical atmosphere. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more special. I highly recommend this guest house to everyone!

The stay at the farmhouse was easily the best experience we had in Bali. The rustic cabin is tastefully built and beautifully decorated. There is a lovely outside bathroom, like in many places in Bali. The room is quite large and has a big double bed with mozzie net and a separate single bed. The verandah is overlooking rice fields and a fruit and vegetable plantation. The only sounds you can hear is the running water from the rice fields and the sounds of nature, like lots of frogs at night, and birds during the day. The family who is running the place (at this stage there is only one cabin available) are so lovely and friendly. The sister made us beautifully presented and very tasty breakfasts and dinners every day. In the evenings we would go over to their little house to sit by the fire, play music and sing together, and share stories. There are so many things to see and do around the area, even within walking distance. We had a driver who lives in the nearby village who was also a very good guide and even organised a Gamelan lesson for us in the village. If you love nature, traditional culture and can do without other tourists around, this place is amazing!

Unique cabin in the treetops in a jungle plantation! High in the mountains- a cool change to the weather! Extensive views from above the tree tops, fantastic food, great hosts. The cabin has been built over 3 floors- bedroom and a small terrace are at the top level. Great place to sit and sit… Breakfast was provided and included in the price. Host offered to arrange dinner and came up with the best food we had in Bali. This area is relatively un-spoilt, offering a chance to explore a little of rural life. The host has extensive knowledge of the area. Undoubtedly the most memorable of our stays in Bali

    This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.

    This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access. The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc. The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while. He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

    An oasis of peace, completely secluded from the outside world, in a forest with rice terraces, run by Dewi and her fantastic team. The open kitchen was an absolute dream. Both breakfast and dinner featured freshly prepared Balinese dishes that were so delicious. Even dessert was always something special. Kudos to the cook. By scooter, you could quickly reach the temple above or the nearby residential area with shops and restaurants. The impressive rice terraces of Jatuliwah can be reached in about 20 minutes. I can recommend it 100%.

    This is the real Bali! Quiet, nature, rustic charm, big smiles, friendly, delicious home cooked food, adventure and homely all at the same time! If you're looking to escape the tourist chaos, this is it! Yoga, meditation, birdwatching, spiritual experiences, a family and community run location. Their own organic red rice, fruit trees, a real heart centred unwind!!!!!

    Loved the mountain spring water from your water vessel,no plastic water bottles needed yeah.less plastic in Bali the better there is still way too much on side of roads & everywhere need to start educating people even the small villages😩 The peacefulness is beautiful & the family.
