The Lodge was very comfortable in a rural setting. The bed was very comfortable and the living area spacious. I didn't expect any breakfast but we were pleased to discover eggs were provided for us to cook breakfast.

The grounds were stunning. The property was clean, cozy and homey. The staff - everyone from reception, bartender to owner - were warm, welcoming, and hospitable. We enjoyed our best meal of our trip at their bar, The Platform Bar. We spent a few hours on our final evening of our trip enjoying some wine, cocktails, and a full meal in the cozy snug by the fireplace.

The hotel is immaculate... set in stunning grounds just a short distance from Dublin with beautiful views and a really peaceful air about the place. We had a fab lunch in the hotel bar before heading to a concert in Dublin. The bed was extremely comfortable and the price for our overnight stay was amazing value.

Our first night in Ireland and my wife and I could not have asked for a better start. Joe met us in the dining room after a late arrival at 8.15pm driving from Dublin. Myself and my daughter stayed one night as we had an engagement in Maynooth early the next morning which was only a 10 minute drive away. location is very handy for Maynooth. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was small but fine for us as we were only staying 1 night. Rooms have TV, Tea and Coffee and Kettle. Free WiFi throughout the property. Bathroom was very small but clean. We had dinner in the Bistro which was excellent, very busy all tables were taken which is a good sign the food is good. Would recommend the Goats Cheese Stater 10/10.
