Spa facilities were lovely and relaxing. Food was absolutely gorgeous!! All ingredients are either from the hotel garden or local produce/irish meat. The lobster was amazing. Hotel has a traditional but luxurious charm.

First class warm Irish hospitality. The host was kind and offered the perfect blend of attention and space. The breakfast was delicious and so generous I couldn't finish it. A vegan option was available. Just minutes from the Céide Fields and Downpatrick Head. One of the larger bedrooms during my stay in Ireland and hands down the best value for money. I'd love to come back and stay for a week.

Ballina has a lot to offer.

Ballina has a lot to offer. Very friendly people with lots to do in the town and a great gateway to other delights in county Mayo. Some really great pubs and restaurants and a great Arts Centre. The Jackie Clarke Collection was must see venue to visit if you are interested in Irish history. Only downside was the nocturnal boy racers that kept us awake on one of the nights.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't good so we didn't explore as much as we would have liked to - as the area had a lot to offer. However, we will be returning. The hotel itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities are wonderful.

Ballina is a friendly and very interesting town.

Ballina is a friendly and very interesting town. There are many places of interest with interest boards and murals explaining about people and places. The Jackie Clarke Collection is well worth a visit, and it is free. You can read about many people and events in the town and surrounding area then go visit them. It is clear the War of Independence and the Civil War had huge effects upon the town and surrounding area.

It was last minute plan for this trip from Dublin to Ballina as weekend get away ,myself, my spouse and my little one were enjoyed our stay and Irish traditional breakfast there. The facility is old but it is well maintained and it is Irish boutique style experience there. The river flowing right in front of the hotel is another kind of refreshment to me, really happy with our stay. what I like the most in general will be Lovely staffs and very peaceful place to stay with kid and family, the location.

Hallahan’s is a very nicely presented accomodation above a pub in the main mall of Ballina. My timing was lucky to find a parking space just outside at 5:30pm when parking became un-restricted! Breakfast in the morning was delicious too! The community look enthusiastic to improve and highlight their town’s assets and history, so Hallahans is very central location for a walk around the sights of the town.

Everything! From the moment I booked it til the day we were going home we had easy communication with our host. The best time in the most comfy stylish spotless accomodation full of little quirks. A welcome pack & message on arrival. Walking distance into town. Shop/petrol station across the road. Central location to explore the Mayo North coast. We will definitely be returning!

The hotel is one of those traditional hotels that provides you with everything you need and a long lasting impression of Irish hospitality. It's true what they say about the Irish, they can't do enough for you, and this was obvious from the minute we set foot in Ballina Manor Hotel.
