The Dolphin was great. Pat made us feel really welcome, he convinced us to go for a swim in the East Beach which was a highlight of the trip. Great breakfast and picked up / dropped off our bags. Will be back again for their half marathon.

Rosleague is a 19th Century manor experience situated in the best part of Connemara. It offers all the touches of a historic manor -- sitting rooms, full dining room, generous bedroom, gardens plus updated furnishings like good Wifi and a generous tub. The breakfast is made to your specifications but also includes the usuals, pastries, yogurt, cereal choices, as you sit overlooking the garden in morning light. They also offer a fancy set of dinner choices. The staff are highly trained and offer impeccable service. It's not cheap to put yourself into "the manor born." But it's not all that pricy either for a few days. I found it totally worth it.

What a wonderful place to visit.

What a wonderful place to visit. Stunning views, beautiful walks very well mapped out. The most unbelievable landscape with fabulous beaches. Very friendly natives, it made me realise just how beautiful Ireland is and all it has to offer. I would encourage more people to holiday in Ireland. Very easy to get around the island and some lovely restaurants. People of Inishboffin could not be more helpful. Some great activities from Sauna, Hot Tubs. Great Bike hire. I would definitely go back.

The proximity of everything to the harbour was great. The view from the hotel grounds and from inside the building itself was idyllic The calm and quiet with little vehicular traffic added to the enjoyment. The availability of bicycles to hire was great.

Much less trafficked than the Aran islands, this is a peaceful island getaway with stunning scenic views all round. A small island if you like to walk you can see it all on foot. Hardly any cars so it really is off the beaten track. Locals are friendly and helpful. A real gem. The different looped walks are well signposted and bring you to the most scenic parts. Jaw dropping beautiful views of the Connemara coast. Good food in Days Beach Bar and the Dunmore Hotel.

The hotel was just a short walk from the pier but Andrew collected us from the ferry and dropped our bags back the day we were leaving. The hotel location was so nice and overlooked the sea. Perfect for exploring the island. It had a great little bar with amazing live music when we were there. Owners and Staff were very friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere. Very comfortable and clean room. Good food. Nice full irish in the morning! We had a really lovely stay and will definitely return.
