The staff at the reception were excellent, especially the gentleman I spoke to before arrival and the same guy I met when I arrived. I called earlier to see if I could check in earlier than 3 pm. due to a change in flight ETA. He said he would try and sort something. On I arrival, i only planned to just stay in the lounge until check in time, but he recognized me as I walked in and approached the counter. He called me by name and said he had sorted a room for me. I was so happy. I was able to rest after a long journey. Brilliant service.

Special mention to the night porter after 12 at night, I came in late because I had a flight and the man couldn't be more accomodating... car was too low to get into car park and he got me parking in another section that was barriered in, couldn't ask for a nicer man to meet that late at night after flying

Very helpful, friendly staff. Nothing was a problem. Close to town. Great service at the bar and restaurant, staff there were so accomodating House keeping staff amazing. Will definitely return.

We loved our 4 th floor apartment.Everything was spanking new and well supplied.Nice view of sliabh bloom mountains in the distance.Very close to town and railway station.

After a delayed flight and a long drive, walking into this cabin was a delight. It is such a cosy, fresh & clean accommodation. Lovely setting and great parking outside. Granola was delicious, topped with a banana I was set up for the day. Host was quick and helpful with all communications and adjusted to our late arrival needs. We did try to extend our stay but unfortunately they were booked up. Lovely place you have here guys!

This surely is an exceptional house! Large rooms, plenty of space to sit and relax. Very well equipped kitchen to make your meals if you wish. Renovation is done with good taste and honoring the old house. Nice back garden too. Parking was easy, lots of parking slots just outside the house. We went to see the bog and had a nice walk there (The Abbeyleix Bog Project).

Beautiful quiet retreat venue in a small wood. Simon and Eilish were very kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean, airy and spacious and the breakfast was delicious.
