WE liked the fact that because the tap in our bathroom would not completely turn off, he immediately offered us another room which was just as comfortable although a bit smaller.

We had a very relaxed stay in a beautiful historic house (yes, it is currently under renovation so you must understand that there are workmen doing their thing during the day. ) You'll have your own bedroom, bathroom and use of a kitchen.

The owners are really nice especially their dog that guards the garden with all 3 paws. The rooms are with really high ceilings and the beds so comfortable we fell asleep instantly. We loved the style of the colony house and it's a nice piece of history. Fermoy is connected pretty well with cork (we payed around 15 euros for 2 people for the bus). The price to what You get it really good.

Ann is such a delightful person.

Ann is such a delightful person. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was just amazing - anything you could possibly want. We enjoyed learning more about the property from Ann and it was such a lovely walk around the property before we went on our way. A beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

Well connected with cork (around 15 euros for the bus for 2 people). Has quite a lot of nice pubs but we only managed to go to 2 of them, because we ran out of time. There is also quite a few restaurants( we ate at the Chinese restaurant for diner)

We stayed about 1.5 miles to the north of the main part of town and were only there for the one night. It has a very reliable bus service from Cork route 245. Is based either side of a river and has all the expected amenities, fuel, shopping stores etc.

Fermoy the largest British Garrison Camp during the empire, it posted troops through out Empire via a roll on roll off train Ship, this left the Port of Holyhead Wales for Dublin Port. It rolled off Men, heading for their Stationed Camp Fermoy. The rail siding was part of the camp & connected to Cobh Port. Cobh is the last port the great 'Titanic' sailed from. Cobh was the main departure point for British troops leaving for Empire duties. Fermoy Town House, part of a purpose built Officer Square of apartment accommodation. Our rooms were once occupied by Officers. Fermoy is a beautiful Irish town full of Irish spirit, the Irish & British have history, its in the walls, come feel it !!

Host Tricia is so genuinely nice and welcoming and ensures that you feel at home while also keeping the place in top shape. The house is set in beautiful parkland overlooking Fermoy which further adds to its charm. My room was lovely - very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen is amazing - you can make your own tea and coffee and there is a very generous supply of lovely food for snacks and breakfast. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel! For someone who likes morning walks through the yards, you can spend a while when appreciating the city from the upper view, the horses, and all rest of the nature that it has. The house ladies are extremely courteous and patient. The room is comfortable and it has a lovely view of the yards.

Ray - the host - is extremely kind and helpful. He showed us around the stay itself and recommended a few laces to see and eat in Fermoy. All facilities and the room were spotless. Bed was comfortable and additional blanket was provided should it be needed.
