The stay was idyllic and the host was an absolute delight. Knowledgeable, considerate, and extremely helpful, she made my stay an absolute delight. She coordinated my dinner plans, gave incredible directions (the only place where I was able to walk through the towns and felt oriented rather than popping from spot to spot staring at my GPS) and she was proactive with helping to to plan around the holiday arrangements to make sure everything went smoothly. Perfect location with a view overlooking the city, beautiful easy and safe walk into town on a pedestrian-only path, and gorgeous impeccably clean room. Truly a delight to stay.

    Love Westport.

    Love Westport. It is a regular stay for me and I come every year. Love the atmosphere, the shopping and the entertainment. Beautiful town and will be returning again next year for sure. We stayed in the Casltlecourt Hotel and ate there every evening.

    Westport is a wonderful town and plenty of nice restaurants...

    Westport is a wonderful town and plenty of nice restaurants but recommend booking up. The Friendly Bistro is super nice and the chef explains everything that is on the special board. Newport is also a lovely place to visit. Two lovely statues of ‘The two Graces’ One of Grace Kelly and the other of Grace O’Mallary The Pirate Princess. Amazing stories from both and also they want to attract more tourism to the area.

    I have been to Westport on a few occasions and it always delivers. There is a lovely ambience to the town, very clean, lovely flowers and great street scenes. Nice sitting out areas.. Ate in Mocha Beans for breakfast, evening meal in AN-FILE pub and restaurant, lunch in O'CEES attached to SuperValu all in the Octagon Area. Easy to get around but buses do not appear to stop in the Main Streets, railway Station is about 30 mins walk. Well worth a stay !

    Everything was perfect.

    Everything was perfect. The helm apts we stayed in were amazing so spacious a very clean a beds comfy. The food was excellent. The staff at the Helm were so helpful a pleasant. The views are breathtaking. The good weather meant we could do plenty walking around Westport house and the town wool and craft shops Visited Achill for fishing catching plenty of fish. Visited Newport an had great food. Westport is amazing we return every year.

    Liked everything host at Wesport Heights so welcoming and helpful and people of the town very nice especially our 2 taxi drivers .JJ O Malleys a great place to eat with friendly staff. Very easy to walk around the town.We were at a wedding in Knockranny House and enjoyed our stay.

    Breakfast was superb especially because YOU decided what you wanted and they cooked it - custom made - especially for you! The location is excellent especially since I was attending a wedding at the very close by Knockranny Hotel. It is also just a short and very beautiful scenic walk from the town centre. The accommodation is superbly clean, lovely bright modern decor and the bathroom has the coolest mirror I ever saw! Smart flat screen TV with Netflix and Youtube. Lovely quiet location. Overall Excellent rating!

    We took a notion on a Thursday afternoon to skip up to Westport for the night. Delighted to find the Mariner on Booking.com for €97. This is a lovely hotel. Very clean, fresh and cosy. Our room was perfectly appointed. We ducked between the raindrops and visited the Wyatt Hotel for pub grub then on to Matt Molloys for the seisiùn. A great night. Breakfast in the Mariner at €10 each was excellent. A lovely selection and better than most. Will definitely return here. Looking forward to it already.

    FANTASTIC! Hospitality at its best. Everything about the Castlecourt Hotel was amazing during our overnight stay. Warm Cead Mile Fáilte. Beautifu relaxing decor in the newly upgraded room. Comfy beds and all essential amenities for guests' convenience. Staff are just amazing. Dinner abd Breakfast was a true delight. Enclosed Parking on site. Excellent B&B rate. Looking forward to returning. 10/10

    Great stay in Westport. The hotel is in the perfect location in the centre of town. The staff couldn't be nicer. Beds are very comfortable, and the room was a generous size. Parking was also very easy with a large public car park right behind the hotel. The breakfast was also excellent with a lovely selection of hot and cold options.
