This is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time. I’m visiting from Australia and changing location in Israel on a daily basis. Shame we could only stay for one night. Next time in Haifa there is no doubt in my mind this is the place to stay. I don’t need to do my research anymore. This is my choice!!! The service is impeccable. The style of decoration is very tasteful. There is nothing I didn’t like.

The staff is super helpful nice and polite. Make you feel so good. It is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Beautiful pool, a bit small but with a nice view. Great meals . Everything was just great.

The Taj Akko easily accessible in the old city and a short walk from everything. Our room in the old stone hotel was nicely decorated with old tiles on the floor, a large comfortable bed, colorful pillows on a bench and stone walls and ceiling. The owners left fresh fruit, coffee and chocolate for us as well as bottles of cold water in the refrigerator. The hotel is a short walk from the free public parking area. We couldn't find a spot, so we parked a bit farther away. The owner paid our parking. We would certainly stay there again.

I booked last minute as plans changed and absolutely loved Villa Sera. Mahan was so helpful and even the cleaner whose son was with her (even though he’s usually studying computer science at university) we’re so friendly. It took a bit to find at first but that’s the Old City and once I found it I found it easily again. Rooms aren’t large but well laid out and the bed was so comfy. I loved the mini Nespresso machine and the Green Tea with lemongrass was a great way to start my day. Also, there are sooo many street cats in Akko. Instead of souvenirs I was buying cat treats!

If you’re planning a a stay in Haifa, you must stay at the Schumacher - it is a real gem! Clean, modern, classy, true European-style hotel. Excellent location with reserved parking right outside the hotel’s front entrance, easy short walk to the Knight’s Hall. The hotel is in a very old building with historical significance. The staff and hotel owner were all nice and knowledgeable. The guest rooms were large and clean with a nice hot shower.
