Novotel Chennai is the must-stay hotel in Chennai. The location is ideal for visiting the Mahabalipuram temples in the South as well as the city, whilst being slightly away from the hustle and bustle. The facilities are exquisite - we stayed in a base room as well as a suite and both were clean and quiet with comfortable as well as functional layouts. The breakfast has a wide variety of choice and all the food was of high quality. The only small comment I would give here is that the cleaning and re-setting of tables after people leave should be more thorough. The thing that makes this place 5 star plus is the staff who are all extremely nice people, friendly and who (successfully) went above and beyond to make our stay 5-star. A special thanks to Vishal and Sai Nikhil who took wonderful care of us and made sure we started and ended every day with a smile!

Breakfast was very good. Dinner at Seagull was not good. We ordered Kaathi roll (too much masala), Margarita pizza (too much cheese, the pizzza tastes like eating cheese, no other flavor). Probably need good chefs. Upper deck dinner was excellent.

    If you want to visit VIT Chennai/IIITDM Kancheepuram/ECR Road or nearby ancient temples, this is a good location, more affordable than staying in Chennai city. If you are a vegetarian, make up your mind to face trouble. There are hardly any pure vegetarian restaurants and we managed to find one Sri Krishna Bhavan close to Days Hotel.

    Very much tough to find the silver key stays 26484, Masjid...

    Very much tough to find the silver key stays 26484, Masjid Nagar, Kelambakkam. Some other named board is placed in big size. Silver key Stays board is so small.. one in tenth as compared to main board. No rooms also allotted for me. I paid already for my bookings.. Totally dissatisfied. Please credit back my booking amount soon.
