IndiaNestled in a valley surrounded by hills this quaint royal palace in the city of Patan, Rajasthan is strikingly grand and majestic in appearance yet completely explorable in a day. This palace with a huge entrance into it's opulent foyer, beautiful terrace courtyard, an inner courtyard which can host small gatherings, dining hall and a swimming pool is an exceptional hidden gem among the royal palaces of Rajasthan.
The royal suite was very spacious and remarkable with its high ceiling, huge enclosed balcony, big bathroom, a ledge inside the room (via stairs) with small windows leading to a small circular room with lots of windows. The terrace courtyard is stunning with it’s mosaic floors, arches and the grand view of the hills around the palace.
Responsive and cooperative hosts (maybe current members of the royal family) along with super courteous staff who are always eager to assist you. Special mention to Mr. Ratan who guided us for the last few kms and was always available for any of our queries.
Celebrating our New Year here was truly an unforgettable experience. Situated around 5 hrs drive from Delhi this heritage property is highly recommended for short getaways.
