Beautiful and ancient city of Iraq. Famous for sightseeing, resorts and authentic cuisine especially Kebab. Kurdish people are very friendly and helpful. Try Yaseen restaurant, on 40 Road , next to it is Zaynal austa restaurant, very clean and authentic. Don’t forget to visit QALAAT ERBIL , ( be there from 5 pm onwards ) busy yet beautiful place to enjoy ، full of street vendors and old souq. Don’t forget to visit famous resorts : Bekhal and Geli Ali Beg waterfalls, old souq of Shaqlawa and Shinglebanna. You’ll need full day for the above. Erbil is becoming a modern city, everything looks amazing and organized, I loved the restaurants in Erbil also the shopping centres, the malls, the parks, altogether it’s a beautiful city, the only thing I didn’t like is when you get cut off by some of the crazy drivers and I really hope that the authorities will pay more attention to this matter and fix it as soon as possible :)Guest review byFAKHRICanada - 8.0
Getting around is easy.
Getting around is easy. Nice parks and resorts and tourist areas. I liked the tourist areas around Erbil, short day trips then you can go back to your hotel in the city. I see that the government is working to improve tourism, however, there is still more work need to be done, investment in the parks and resorts is very important which will bring more tourist locally and internationally.Guest review byAnonymousNew Zealand - 10.0

Our stay at the hotel was beyond exceptional! This was mainly due to the front office receptionist (Ramen) who was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. Our entire duration was seamless and wonderful! It’s obvious the staff truly care about their guests and we will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel. I would stay in Ainkawa rather than Erbil, it is a waking area. Erbil is a car city, like Dubai or Jakarta. It is not a walking city like Kuala Lumpur or Paris. If one has a car than Erbil area is nice, especially if one can go up into the mountains in the summer.Guest review byStephenCanada

The setting is excellent and welcoming, and the team, led by the exceptional manager Hayhem, was incredibly attentive to all my needs. The on-site Shahmiran restaurant is outstanding, with the Syrian chef preparing delicious dishes at very reasonable prices.
